DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Start with the Baboons

Nearly all trips to South Africa start with the quirky baboons and so will be yours. It is delightful to spot these quirky creatures on the very first day of an African Safari. You can spot them at Cape Point where these animals live in abundance. If you go a bit north to the promontory, you will find the imperious Table Mountains standing tall in front of you. This is the place, where you can get some intimate time with the baboons. Occasionally, baboons loaf about in the shoulders of the road and sometimes in the middle of the road. If you get to witness such experiences, do not open the doors of your cars or crack your windows out of excitement. When in the mountains, only watching the baboons at a distance is pleasurable. You won’t be able to handle them in-person. So, enjoy the drive through the mountains along with some intimate time with baboons on the very first day of your South Africa Safari.

Day 2: Table Mountains

On day one, you might have received some glimpses of the astonishing beauty of the Table Mountains but experiencing them from the closest is yet to uncover. This is why the second day of your trip will embark the beginning of a short trip that will land you in the footsteps of Table Mountains. The 3,500 feet tall mountains offer a breathtaking view of the tip of the continent. The sky-high mountains form a blanket of white wisps that you can gaze down upon. If you are an energetic youth, go for an amazing hiking experience over the mountains and if that is not the case, get some incredible views of the mountains via a cable car ride. Reaching atop of Table Mountains will showcase an incredible view of Cape Town which is too beautiful to be captured by human eyes. Spend some time there and let your eyes soak the beauty of the mountains and its surroundings before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Boulders Beach

Who says South Africa is a wild-centric country. The existence of long stretches of the Boulders Beach fails this statement. A short drive from Cape Town will bring you to this incredible beach which is also home to a huge colony of penguins. These tiny locals often spotted fighting for with one another. Sometimes it is for the shelter and sometimes the fight is for dominated male rights. These black locals are known to be residing on this beach since 1980 and never left. Considering their string boundaries on the beach, a separate sanctuary has been created on the beach side to give them freedom of space.

Visit the beach on the third day of your South Africa Safari and share the beach space with these local black bodies. You can touch them and get close as you want. The only thing that you are not allowed to do is to feed them because penguin bites are no joke.

Day 4: A Visit to the Orange River
