Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo

Meet your private guide at the Narita airport, and transfer to your hotel. Set off with your guide on an introductory tour of the city. Discover Akihabara, heaven for anime and video game enthusiasts. Visit Ginza, Tokyo's most prestigious shopping area, where you can find upscale clothing and accessories. Devour your first Japanese dinner of either ramen or Pork Katsu.

Day 2: Explore the western side of Tokyo

 Tour the western districts of the city, including Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Go for a walking tour and check out the world-famous Shibuya Crossing, where hundreds of people scramble across the street at once. Head to the Keio Inokashira Line at Shibuya Station for a perfect view of the crossing. Admire the amazing fashion of the people and colorful street art in Harajuku. Explore cutting-edge temporary exhibitions at the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art. End your day with karaoke at karaoke rooms amidst the gorgeous neon-lit streets of East Shinjuku and enjoy the local Japanese cuisines before returning to your lodge.

Day 3: Explore the eastern side of Tokyo

Start with a new side, another corner of Tokyo- the East side. Eastside has a lot of attractions, including Asakusa, Sensoji Temple, historic Nakamise Dori shopping street, Sumida Park and Tokyo SkyTree, Tokyo SkyTree - the tallest tower in Japan. Visit the Senso-Ji, Tokyo's oldest and most significant ancient Buddhist temple. Explore the bustling historic Nakamise shopping street, which connects the main gate of the temple and its main hall. Walk among around 700 cherry trees in Sumida park and admire the blossoms. Climb the Tokyo Skytree to get the best view of Sumida from 634 meters in the air. You can even see Mt. Fuji from there!

Day 4: Visiting Kamakura

If the crowded streets of Tokyo make you crave some tranquility, Kamakura is the next place you must visit. Visit Kotokuin Temple to see the 44-foot-tall Great Buddha of Kamakura, which is by far the most popular attraction in the region. After a brief stroll, reach the Hase Dera Temple, a magnificent temple perched on a hilltop with a view of the ocean. Visit the ancient bamboo forest at Hokokuji Temple. When you're finished visiting the temples, walk over to Kamakura's biggest commercial street, Komachi-Dori, where you can fill up on mouth-watering regional specialties.

Day 5: Visit Nikko and get closer to nature

Get some nature into your trip and visit the nature-loving Nikko city, which is full of stone lanterns, vermillion gates, towering cedars, and ancient moss. The antique look of the city makes this place picturesque. Visit the famous Toshogu Shrine, the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Walk around among numerous other temples and shrines. Don't miss the famous Shinkyo bridge, one of Nikko's best sightseeing spots with a storied past. Witness the beauty of nature at the Nikko National Park and end your day by visiting the almost 100 meters tall Kegon Falls, the most famous out of the 48 waterfalls in Nikko.

Day 6: Departure

After a luxurious farewell lunch, your guide will transfer you to the airport to take your flight back home.
