DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Yangon - Welcome to Myanmar

This is going to be your first day in Myanmar! As per our 7-days Myanmar Travel Itinerary, your trip will be starting from Yangon. This is the former capital of the country and is the economic hub of the country. Interestingly, you will get to experience here, an incredible mix of British, Chinese, Burmese, and Indian culture. Yangon has a variety of luxury as well as low budget hotels, where you can get to fit yourself. On your first day in the city, it’s good to settle in, and take a tour to get acquainted with its people and the place.

Day 2: Yangon - Exploration Begins Here

There are uncountable sights in Yangon whose beauty & unique stature can take anyone’s breath away. Everything, from the Buddhist pagodas to wonderful colonial buildings has something unique of its kind. On the second day of your trip to Myanmar, you will be visiting some of the beautiful temples of the country including Shwedagon Pagoda which is Myanmar’s oldest Pagodas. It was built sometimes before 2600 years ago. Then there’s The Sule Pagoda, which is situated in the central part of the city. Apart from that, two of the giant lakes of the city including Kandawgyi Lake and Inya Lake are sites you cannot miss to see.

Day 3: Bagan - The Incredible City in Central Myanmar

Bagan, the ancient city is home to a number of Buddhist temples! It’s located beautifully in the Central part of Myanmar. Most of the temples were built around the 12th century! Bagan interestingly has a huge bunch of beautiful temples, and it’s a great idea to venture out for your trip early morning. Maha Myat Muni Paya is one of the worth seeing religious sites in Myanmar. You can take one full day to explore these vast varieties of incredible pagodas and temples here. In the evening, you can head towards Inle Lake by taking a bus or you can fly to the Heho Airport (Inle Lake). As per the rules, foreigners are required to pay an amount of $ 10 USD to stay in the vicinity of Inle Lake.

Day 5: Inle Lake - Your Incredible Exploration Begins Here

It’s your fifth day in Myanmar and you are on your way to exploring the incredible! Situated in the central part of the country, this freshwater lake, Inle Lake is an interesting site to discover. This lake provides shelter to thousands of people who live on the Inle Lake itself. The most impeccable way of exploring Inle lake is through a boat tour. Day 6: Departure Day - Inle Lake to Yangon
