Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

You'll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet your private guide and be transferred to your hotel. Spend some evenings exploring the local market and getting a feel of the citys nightlife. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest. 

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, you'll go on a guided tour of Kathmandu's cultural and historical sites. You'll visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in the world. Then, you'll visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, and witness panoramic views of the city from the top. Have lunch at an excellent restaurant in the city, and after that, you'll visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally, you'll visit Durbar Square, the former royal palace in Kathmandu. Return to your hotel for dinner. 

Day 3: Drive to Chitwan National Park

Today, get a private drive to Chitwan National Park, about five hours away from Kathmandu. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to see local villages and scenic views of the Nepalese countryside. You'll check into your lodge in the park and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll go on a jungle walk with a naturalist guide to explore the park and see the wildlife, including the rare One-horned Rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, and Asian Elephant. Return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 4: Chitwan Safari activities

Today, you'll go on a full-day jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. You'll go on an elephant back safari to see the one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, and other wildlife. You'll also go on a canoe ride down the Rapti River to see the crocodiles and birds. Have lunch at the park amidst the beauty of nature. In the evening, you'll enjoy a traditional Tharu dance performance by the local community. Return to your lodge for dinner. 

Day 5: Chitwan to Nagarkot

After breakfast, you'll drive to Nagarkot, about four hours away. You'll stop at the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit the temples and palaces. You'll have lunch in Bhaktapur before continuing your drive to Nagarkot. You'll check into your hotel in Nagarkot and have some time to relax.

Day 6: Nagarkot to Kathmandu

Get ready for an early morning drive to Nagarkot, a hill station located about an hour from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, take in the stunning views of the Himalayas and the valley below. Explore the local area, including nearby temples and viewpoints, before returning to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, relax and take in the peaceful surroundings before returning to Kathmandu in the evening. 

Day 7: Drive to Nagarjun Forest Reserve

After breakfast, you'll drive to the Nagarjun Forest Reserve, which is about 30 minutes away from Kathmandu. You'll check into your lodge in reserve and have lunch. In the afternoon, you'll go on a nature walk with a guide to see the wildlife, learn about the local flora and fauna, spot the elusive red panda, or hear the haunting call of the Bengal florican. 

Day 8: Nagarjuna Safari activities

Today, you'll go on a full-day jungle safari in Nagarjun Forest Reserve. You'll go on a bird-watching hike and see the diverse species of birds in the park as you wander deeper into the reserve, marveling at the towering trees, bubbling streams, and diverse wildlife that comes into view. You'll also go on a wildlife safari to see the wild boars, spotted deer, and other animals. You'll relax and enjoy the park's natural beauty in the evening.

Day 9: Nagarjuna to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you'll drive back to Kathmandu and visit the Garden of Dreams, a beautiful garden located in the heart of Kathmandu; it provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Thamel district in Kathmandu; it offers a vibrant atmosphere, shopping opportunities, and local restaurants serving delicious food. Then, head to the National Museum to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Nepal through its art, artifacts, and manuscripts. Head to your hotel for dinner and rest. 

Day 10: Visit Patan Darbar Square

Embark on a journey of discovery through the timeless beauty of Patan Darbar Square, where ancient Newari architecture blends seamlessly with modern-day life. Marvel at the intricate carvings and masterful craftsmanship of the revered Krishna Temple, a testament to the exceptional skills of local artisans. Day 11: Hiking in Shivapuri National Park

Your experienced guide will lead you on a six-hour scenic hike through the park's lush forest, where you'll be able to admire the diverse flora and fauna and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Day 12: Visit the Sankhu Village and Bajra Barahi Temple

After breakfast, you'll visit the Sankhu Village, a traditional Newari village located just outside Kathmandu. You'll learn about the conventional Newari lifestyle and take a class in Nepalese cuisine. After lunch, you'll visit the Bajra Barahi Temple, a Hindu temple located on a small island in the middle of the Bajra Barahi Lake. You'll take a boat to the temple and explore its intricate carvings and sculptures. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 13: Visit the Panauti Village and Indreshwar Temple

Today, you'll visit the Panauti Village, a traditional Newari village located about an hour outside Kathmandu. You'll explore the village's narrow streets and traditional crafts and architecture. After lunch, you'll visit the Indreshwar Temple, a Hindu temple in the town. You'll learn about the temple's history and see its intricate carvings and sculptures. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu
