Day 1: The Start of an Epic Adventure in Kathmandu

Welcome to the bustling city of Kathmandu! After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your private guide and be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, taking in the country's sights, meandering through the local market, and checking out Nepalese traditional wear. Stop by to taste some local delicacies of Nepal. Return to your hotel for rest and dinner.

Day 2: Embarking on the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Safari

Rise and shine for an early morning departure from the city. Catch a flight to Biratnagar Airport, and then embark on a scenic drive to the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Park (approx. 1 hour from the airport), surrounded by lush greenery and serenity. Check into your camp and relax. As the sun sets, you'll set out to spot the park's diverse species, including Wild Buffalo, Spotted Deer, and the occasional Rhinoceros. Return to your camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Immerse Yourself in the Wilds of Koshi Tappu

Wake up to the sounds of the wilderness and gear up for a day of adventure in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Park. Today, you'll venture into the heart of the park, embarking on a thrilling wildlife safari. Get ready to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this unique ecosystem and come face-to-face with some of the most magnificent creatures that call it home. As you traverse through the lush vegetation, look out for the colorful fluttering of exotic bird species like the Sarus Crane and the Bengal Florican. Marvel at the majesty of the one-horned rhinoceros and the spotted deer as they roam freely in their natural habitat. Return for lunch and savor the traditional butter tea while enjoying the campfire. In the evening, take a tranquil boat ride along the Koshi River and watch as the sun sets over the lush park, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. Return to your camp for an open-fire dinner. 

Day 4: Fly back to Kathmandu

Say goodbye to Koshi Tappu, fly back to Kathmandu, and check into your hotel. Start your day by visiting the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world. Walk through the colorful streets of the nearby Old Bazaar, filled with bustling stalls and shops selling everything from handmade textiles to exotic spices. In the afternoon, visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, for panoramic views of the city and to learn about Buddhism in Nepal. End the day with a visit to the historic Durbar Square, surrounded by stunning temples and palaces.  Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Exploring hidden gems of Kathmandu

After breakfast, visit the Kathmandu Museum, showcasing the city's rich cultural and religious history. End your day by browsing the local stalls and shops of the vibrant Ason Tole market, known for its vibrant textiles and handmade crafts. Have a delicious lunch at a premium restaurant, and later in the day, visit the Garden of Dreams, a serene escape from the busy city with lush gardens and tranquil ponds. In the evening, indulge in a traditional Nepali dinner with local delicacies before heading to your hotel.

Day 6: Heading to the Majestic Mountains of Sagarmatha

Board a short flight to Lukla (25 minutes), getting a bird's eye view of the majestic peaks of Sagarmatha. On arrival, your private guide will drive you to your lodge. Have lunch and prepare for a trekking adventure through the heart of the Himalayas. The trail begins with a peaceful trek along the banks of the Dudh Koshi river. You'll wander through charming villages like Ghat and Monjo, surrounded by the beauty of the Solu-Khumbu region. After approximately 3-4 hours of trekking, you'll reach the small town of Phakding, where you can rest and recharge for the next day's adventure.

Day 7: Trekking to the Charming Village of Namche Bazaar

Today, the trail takes you from Phakding to the largest Sherpa town in the area, Namche Bazaar. You'll cross over several suspension bridges, surrounded by the lush rhododendron forests of the region. The journey to Namche Bazaar is full of excitement as you get a glimpse into the heart of the Everest region. Upon arrival, explore the town's bustling market and local museum and visit the Sagarmatha National Park visitor center. After a full day of exploration, you'll spend the night in Namche Bazaar, well-rested and ready for the next chapter of your trekking adventure.

Day 8: Discovering the Serene Atmosphere of Tengboche Monastery

Today, the trail leads you from the bustling town of Namche Bazaar to the peaceful and serene Tengboche Monastery. You'll continue to follow the Dudh Koshi river, trekking through beautiful rhododendron forests and breathtaking mountain vistas. The trail ascends to the Tengboche village, where you'll visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Himalayas, you'll have the opportunity to witness the traditional prayer ceremonies of the monks and soak in the serene beauty of this spiritual site. After a full day of trekking and exploration, you'll spend the night in Tengboche, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the mountains.

Day 9: Reaching Sagarmatha National Park

Today, the trail continues from Tengboche to the heart of the Sagarmatha National Park, home to some of the world's tallest peaks and unique high-altitude flora and fauna. The trek today takes you through the alpine forests, offering stunning views of the peaks, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kantega. Once you reach the park, you'll go on a safari adventure to spot rare species of birds and mammals, such as the Himalayan Tahr and Snow Leopard. Then, head to your lodge, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayas, for a delicious dinner and rest.

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, your private guide will drive you to the Tribhuvan International Airport (an hour's drive away) for departure back home, the memories of this trip lingering in your mind.
