Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

You will meet your personal guide at the exit doors of the international airport of Entebbe. He will escort you to your luxurious hotel where you will relax and wait for the next day to come up with an adventurous Rwanda Safari tour.

Day 2:  Murchison Falls National Park and Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary

Today, you will be visiting two famous parks of Entebbe and they are Murchison Falls National Park and Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary. The drive to the park is of a few hours only and in the meantime, you can soak up your eyes with the panoramic views of the city. Reaching the park, you will get a brief about the gorilla trekking which you will experience in-person in no time. Explore the park and experience the one-of-a-lifetime moment of witnessing the mountain gorillas in real life. In total, you will have two hours to spend with the gorillas and this is enough to capture some wowsome moments with your closest primates.

When done with the gorilla trekking, continue the drive to Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary which is famous for endangered white rhinos and countless birds. Visit the sanctuary and track white rhinos at $40 per person. If you were looking for some rare species of rhinos, this is the place which can offer you the sights of the same. Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary boasts some of the rarest species of black and white rhinos under the protected areas of the park. In the sanctuary, you will also visit the world’s longest river Nile which is forced to pass through a narrow gap in the rock before ferociously plunging down 43 meters.

Day 3: Kibale National Park - Meeting the local people of Rwanda

Kibale National Park is known for many reasons of which the local people and their artwork is one. Today, you will explore the local villages and meet the local people busy in their daily schedule. As you pass by them, you will see them busy in their traditional crops of millet, sorghum, beans, and maize. The good part is that they are very friendly and will greet you with a smile. Next attraction of today Rwanda Safari adventure would be the lust green rolling hills that are perfect for the Instagram wall. Click pictures with Rwanda rolling hills in the background and that’s it. Continue your journey until the hunger makes you stop for lunch.

Day 4: Kibale National Park - Chimpanzee Trekking

Kibale is known for the ultimate Chimpanzee trekking that it offers to all the travelers who want to see them closely. The Chimpanzees are the closest cousins of humans and seeing them from just a few meters away, is a one-of-a-kind experience. You can see one, two, or maybe 40 Chimpanzees at one time. The first hour of your trekking can be heart racing, but after that, you will start admiring the atmosphere and your closest cousins. Chimpanzees will see you, observe you with a strange look, focus on your walk as you are doing it on two legs, get fascinated by the shiny objects you are holding in your hands, and much more. It’s certainly long enough to take plenty of photos, then put the camera down and soak up the atmosphere of the experience.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you will drive to Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is dominated by snowcapped Rwenzori mountains famously known as the mountains of the moon. Inside the park, you will witness two lakes - Lake Edward and  Lake George bordering the western and eastern parts of the park. The game drives in the park are extremely delightful because of the two lakes that border the park from two sides. The Kasenyi plains in the park are the hub of big cats including the Lions and the Mweya peninsula witnesses the presence of an array of wild animals.

Day 6: Ishsaha Sector

Drive north through Uganda’s most popular national park, Ishasha Sector. The density of wildlife in Ishahsa is not too high but you will get to see some near the waterholes. The main attraction of this place is the tree-climbing lions that are hard to spot. Something moves, and your eyes follow. You sense the lion is there, but you cannot see it. You see a tail flickering and then the eyes, and then the complete lion ready to chase its prey. The moment is spectacular and sure to give the goosebumps. End your day in one of the luxurious lodges of this place while enjoying the delectable meals with amazing drinks.

Day 7: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Once again you are at the edge of meeting the mountain gorillas and this time the habitat would be  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Wake up early in the morning and get done with your breakfast. A local guide will brief you about the gorilla trekking rules in Bwindi in your hotel itself. After that, you will leave for the park on a four-wheeled vehicle. Reaching the park, the guide will help you to get the entry tickets. You will again be informed about the rules and regulations of the park just to tell how to behave with the gorillas. Inside the park, you will follow a trail set by your guide. Being an expert in spotting the mountain gorillas, your guide will assist you with the best paths which you will follow during the trek. He will tell you to keep wandering and look for the signs of gorillas. Evert little sound in the air and every movement made in the bushes will increase your heartbeat and you will realize that you are in the habitat of mountain gorillas. Suddenly, your guide will stop at one point and will ask you to do the same. In no time, you will feel vibrations in the ground and in few more seconds, you will face the real gorillas in front of you. They are huge, they are incredible because they are the mountain gorillas. You will find them in troops because they like to live together.

Day 8: Departure

Your 7-day Uganda Rwanda Safari Adventure is finally completing and today you will be saying Cheerios to the scenic beauty of this place. With lots of special memories in your heart, you will transfer to the airport for a happy return. Do not miss to enjoy your farewell breakfast in the hotel before the exit formalities.
