He will escort you to your luxurious hotel where you can recharge and revitalize before your adventure begins. Enjoy the welcome dinner and drinks while sitting on the lap of the mother nature. Being the first day of your stay in Botswana, try to absorb more in less time. Sit by a balcony for an open view to the grasslands. You can also take a walk around the lodge to explore the surroundings for the rest of the day. This would be a couple of things that every guide will suggest you to on the first day of your African Safari. Have a good night’s sleep to wake up all fresh and excited to begin your much awaited Botswana Safari tour.

Days 2-4: In the Okavango Delta

Wake up early in the morning. Today, you will fly to Maun, Botswana, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The first few glimpses of the scenic beauty of Botswana can be capture today itself. You will board a private charter plane to fly above magical, sprawling swamps of Botswana. Gance through your window at the stunningly beautiful scenery where the sands of the Kalahari can be seen transforming into the glorious channels of the Okavango Delta. Reach your first destination which would be a Botswana Safari Camp nestled between a lush green forest and a scenic lagoon. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the camp and soak up your surroundings. Let your guide meet you at the tea time to discuss the upcoming game drive you will be having in the riverine forest of Botswana.

The next day in the camp will witness the beginning of your Botswana game driving. Board an open vehicle with a camera full of battery, a pair of binoculars, and of course your guide who will take you deep inside the forest.

Enter the forest and you will find it packed full with endless grassland, floodplains, and glistening rivers. Search for the herds of elephants first. Being huge in size, you will easily spot them in the first few minutes of your drive. After this, you can proceed ahead to spot the pride of big cats. There will also be a decent count of buffalos, antelopes, and wild dogs which you will spot later in the drive. After spending an adventurous day of game driving, return to the camp for meals and drinks.

Days 5-7: Exploring the scenic beauty of Kalahari

Your next destination would be the lush green forests of Kalahari. Fly to Kalahari where one of the bushman lodges await you with all the accommodations you will be needing during your stay. In Kalahari, you will again experience an incredible game driving but this time, it will not happen via a vehicle but by a boat. Recline along the pools and wait for the animals come outside. Gaze at the basking crocodiles and try not to get scared of their activities. Once you are done with the river game driving, it’s time to explore the wilderness in the wild through the saddle. Get started with the amazing horseback riding to explore the untamed corners of the forest by sitting on the top of a horse. The horseback riding is one of the best game driving experiences travelers across the world witness in Kalahari.

Day 8: Moremi: From Desert to Delta

After witnessing the wonders of the Kalahari, it’s time to delve in the magic of Moremi. You will be spending one night in the glistening swamps of the Delta where tranquility and majesty truly meet to give travelers the moments of wonders. Apart from the beautiful scenic lodge where you will stay, the delta is also home to many wild animals which justify its existence on the map of Botswana. From gorgeous lagoons to glimmering water channels, you will explore the delta to witness the scenic beauty of the mother nature to treat your eyes with endless beauty.

Day 9: Drama in the Falls

Victoria falls is a legendary waterfall that impresses all the senses. It has a roar of thunder and feels like hundreds of tons of water droplets are hitting the ground every second. You can not imagine how standing in front of it would feel until you visit it personally. This natural legend deserves to be the first destination of your ultimate Botswana Safari. Hence, witnessing the natural legend during the Africa Safari is a must for every traveler. Witness the largest waterfall in the world with bare eyes, click pictures and capture these moments in your eye lens forever.

Day 10-11: In the Chobe

The last few days of your Botswana Safari will be in the lush green forests of the Chobe National park. Here, you will spot the African wildlife through bare eyes and spot massive herds of elephants roaming and swaying their trunks in the deep Chobe Forest. Although it’s the simplest of the camps used on your safari, it’s exceptionally positioned to maximize the feeling of being in the heart of nature. Find the elephants closest to your Botswana Safari camp and on the highway roads during the road journey. Follow their journey to the forest, see them walking in a herd of hundreds of elephants. Follow the paths to see their daily activities. See how the mother elephant walks side by side to the baby elephant. See them bathing, relaxing, and walking into the forest. Do not miss the incredible boisterous young males fight for mating rights and bull elephants drinking water in a group.

Day 12: Departure

Your 12 days Tour in Botswana is finally completing and today you will be saying Cheerios to the scenic beauty of this place. With lots of special memories in your heart, you will transfer to the airport for a happy return. Do not miss to enjoy your farewell breakfast in the hotel before the exit formalities.
