Los Angeles is the most populous city in California and second only to New York in the United States. LA has a subtropical-Mediterranean climate, with minimal rainfall. Temperatures only go above 90 degrees about a dozen days a year, but temperature ranges change based on location and time of day. Los Angeles is perhaps best known as the home of the movie industry. On a trip to the city, you can see the infamous Hollywood Sign, take a tour of working Hollywood Studios, or star gaze on a TMZ bus tour. You can be an audience member at a late-night TV show taping or catch a taping of one of your favorite multi-camera sitcoms. You can trek the 15 block Hollywood Walk of Fame and stop by the Chinese Theater.
