Day 1: Welcome to Zimbabwe!

Your adventure begins as you arrive in the vibrant capital city of Harare. Your private guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your cozy hotel. Set out to explore the city and get a feel for the local culture. Check out the nearby markets and try the local cuisine before returning to your hotel for a rest. 

Day 2: Exploring Harare

After breakfast, start by visiting the National Museum, where you can learn about the history and customs of the country. Next, head to the Queen Victoria Museum, which has a wide range of exhibits showcasing Zimbabwe's art, culture, and history. Have lunch at an excellent restaurant, and finally, visit the Chapungu Sculpture Park, home to a collection of over 300 intricate stone sculptures by Zimbabwean artists. Return to the hotel for dinner. 

Day 3: Day trip to Marondera

Today, you'll be taking a day trip to the charming town of Marondera. Known for its beautiful gardens and colonial architecture, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country's natural beauty. Start the day by visiting the Marondera Botanic Garden, where you'll find a variety of indigenous plants and flowers. Next, head to the Marondera Museum, which has a collection of artifacts that tell the story of the town's rich history.

Day 4: Visit the Great Zimbabwe National Monument

Unlock the secrets of the past as you explore the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, a UNESCO World Heritage site that holds the ruins of an ancient city. Then, travel back in time and discover the rich history of this ancient city as you take a guided tour of the ruins. Day 5: Hike the Matobo Hills

Today you'll take a trip to the Matobo Hills (a one hour and thirty minutes drive), another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Matobo National Park and take a guided hike to see the granite kopjes and wildlife, such as rhinos and elephants. Take a picnic lunch with you to enjoy the scenery while eating. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest. 

Day 6: Travel to Bulawayo, explore the city

After breakfast, get a private transfer to Bulawayo through the scenic landscapes of Zimbabwe (a four-hour journey). It is the second-largest city in Zimbabwe, known for its rich history and culture; it's the perfect place to explore the country's past. Start the day by visiting the Bulawayo Museum, which has many exhibits showcasing the city's history. Next, head to the Natural History Museum, where you can learn about the diverse wildlife that can be found in the country. Finally, visit the Bulawayo Art Gallery, which has a collection of paintings and sculptures by local artists. Have dinner at a traditional restaurant and retire for the day in your hotel. 

Day 7: Day trip to Victoria Falls

Step into a world of wonder and awe as you embark on a day trip to the majestic Victoria Falls. Nestled on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, this natural wonder is known as the world's largest waterfall and a sight to behold. Start your journey with a two-hour drive to the falls, where you'll take a guided tour of the falls. Take in the awe-inspiring views and learn about its history and geology. As the sun sets, board a luxurious sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and relish in the tranquility of the surroundings. Day 8: Safari in Hwange National Park

Day 9: Departure from Harare
