It has various adventure activities such as hiking and camping. Your guide will accompany you this afternoon on the activity of your choice. Your guide will take you to your next stop, Nevidio, on the outskirts of Durmitor National Park. It is considered the beginning point for a canyoning trip down Nevidio Canyon. There is also a lake for swimming and trails for strolling. This is a scenic camping spot with few crowds.

Day 3: Niksic

Niksic is a tiny city known for its culture and heritage. You can visit plenty of museums in the city to learn more about the history of Montenegro. Stroll through the city mains promenade and discover the shops, cafes, and restaurants.  Niksic is known for its nightlife, where you can mingle with the locals and try out the local Niksicko beer. Head to Trebjesa, a 120-year-old iconic brewery, to learn more about beer production.

Day 4: Podgorica and Ostrog Monastery

Welcome to Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro. Your guide will transport you to the best available accomodations.. The city is known for its brutalist architecture, which you can see in Blok V housing estate and the Church of the Holy Heart of Jesus. Walk through the city and spot many walls filled with graffiti in true Balkan style. Head to the Ostrog monastery, which dates back to the 17th century and is established on a cliff face.

Day 5: Lake Skadar

Proceed to Lake Skadar, sitting at the border between Montenegro and Albania. It is reachable from both sides, although the major part lies in Montenegro. This huge lake area is a haven for bird watchers, and a boat trip through the wetlands will let you spot various kinds of wildlife, including water snakes. Visit this tiny island with a monastery and watch a beautiful sunset over the lake. Your guide will take you to Kotor, where you will check into your next hotel.

Day 6: Kotor

Explore the stunning coastline of Montenegro from Kotor. Cruise ships regularly stop throughout the summer, and hundreds of visitors arrive by cars and buses. However, the old town maintains its charm and is a wonderful place to wander, especially during the early morning hours. For panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor, visit the St John Fortress above the town.

Day 7: Perast

A little further around the Bay of Kotor lies the tiny village of Perast, much smaller and quieter than Kotor. The town sits right on the water, and there are plenty of nice cafes overlooking the coast. Your guide will take you on a tour of quaint churches to visit in the town, and lead you along the winding streets and find gorgeous abandoned buildings. In the afternoon, take a boat tour to the small island of Sveti Dorde.

Day 8: Budva

Your guide will transport you to Budva, a coastal resort town which has become a popular destination in Montenegro for its medieval old town, sunny beaches, and lively nightlife.  This afternoon, you will have free time to relax by the sea.

Day 9: Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan is a famous spot for a day trip along the coast. This tiny island is linked to the mainland by a walkway. Your guide will take you to an exclusive hotel on the island. On the shore, the left side of the walkway is a public beach where you can enjoy the clear waters.

Day 10: Ulcinj

Ulcinj is extremely popular during the summer, so we recommend stopping here only in the off-season. The old town is gorgeous, and if you stroll along the coastline in either direction, there are plenty of smaller bays for relaxing and swimming, including a beach only for women. Take a boat ride along this stretch of coast to reach secret beaches accessible only by the water.

Finally, its time to say farewell to Montenegro. Your tour guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
