Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Sarajevo

You will be welcomed at Sarajevo airport by your tour guide. They will take you to your luxury hotel. After check-in, get some rest and spend your afternoon exploring Sarajevo. Head to the old town located in the city center. There are numerous museums and historical sites worth visiting within walking distance. On the first day, do not stress yourself with a hectic schedule, and explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2: Walk around the city of Sarajevo

Start your day by exploring the history and culture of Bascarsija, the main bazaar of Sarajevo. You will see skyscrapers, shopping centers, and the tallest building in the Balkan region: The Avaz Twist Tower. Your guide will accompany you on the Sarajevo Walking Tour. Visit the site of Franz Ferdinands assassination on Latin Bridge. You will be explained why the Sarajevo Brewery became a lifesaver in the Siege of Sarajevo. Move ahead to explore the branching alleys in Bascarsija. You can also participate in the Free Walking Tours War Scars & New Times to learn more about the Siege of Sarajevo. Have a traditional Bosnian dinner before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Learn the history of Sarajevo

After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina or the Historical Museum. Stroll through the Sarajevo War Tunnel to learn about Srebrenica at Galerija. Spend half a day here discovering the importance of Sarajevos coolest neighborhoods and check out the citys street art. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Marvel at the Bosnian Pyramids

Start your day trip to the Bosnian Pyramids in Visoko, a small town near Sarajevo. Your guide will instruct you in the right direction to the pyramids. A local archaeologist Semir Osmanagic suggests that the five hills are human-made structures. The structures are believed to be over 30,000 years old and made of one of the strongest concrete known to humans. Spend the day exploring the history of the Bosnian pyramids. You will be driven back to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Heading to Konjic

Start your day early for Konjic from Sarajevo. There are plenty of things to do in Konjic, including rafting on the Neretva River and having a plunge pool hike. Enjoy a full-day trip here doing water sports and have your dinner at a local restaurant. If you are looking forward to having drinks and live music, proceed toward a local brewery. Spend the night at a luxury hotel in Konjic.

Day 6: A day tour of Blagaj

Your guide will drive you through the stunning landscapes en route to Blagaj, offering the best scenic places in Bosnia. Here, you can visit the Dervish House, a stunning monastery pressed against the mountain. Walking along the tiny village, you will also see a gorgeous waterfall and a cave. During summer, you can take a boat ride inside the cave. 

Day 7: Proceed to Kravice Waterfall

After breakfast, you will be driven to the stunning Kravice Waterfall, which is not too far away from Blagaj. You can also take a swim in this popular tourist spot. Theres no public transportation to Kravice waterfall, so our guide will accompany you throughout the journey. However, you can also hitchhike to the waterfall if you want to be amid nature. Return to the nearest town Capljina for the night stay.

Day 8: A Relaxing Day at the Pliva Waterfall

After breakfast, proceed to the stunning 20-meter-high Pliva waterfall in Jajce. You can also try your hand at fishing, which is very popular around the area. You can spend the entire day amid nature and enjoy strolling along the river. 

Day 9: International Departure

Your guide will drive you back to Sarajevo for your international departure. By the end of this trip, you would have made lifelong memories of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
