In this Turkey vacation package, you will start the memorable tour from Istanbul which is the best place to start any trip with. In this in-depth cultural tour of the country, you would be visiting more than 8 locations throughout the country including the capital city of Ankara. After visiting Istanbul, you would be visiting the Gallipoli Battlefields, Troy, Acropolis of Pergamon, Ephesus, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Silk Road, Konya, Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City, and Ankara while coming back to Istanbul to finish the trip. Check out the details of the trip in the following itinerary planned for you. 

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul and sightseeing

On the morning of the first day, you would be arriving in the most vibrant cities in the world, Istanbul, a city that is visited the most the entire year in the world. After arrival, you will meet the tour operator who would take you to the pre-booked hotel where you can refresh and start the trip right away. Once you get fresh, you would depart from Istanbul for the Gallipoli Peninsula which is not much far from mainland Istanbul. This place is one of the emotionally touching places in the history of Turkey and it is here that you would be visiting the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli. Apart from the battlefields, you get to visit the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, The Nek and original trenches and tunnels which have been preserved till date by the archaeological society of Turkey. Depending upon the size of these memorials and the details of the war, it would take a day for you to visit them entirely. So, come back to Istanbul for the night stay and check out the local bars and eateries in the city also. 

Day 2: Visiting Troy and Acropolis of Pergamon 

On the morning of the second day, get ready to be smitten away with the amount of intake of history today when you visit back in time to see the Troy which is called the home to the infamous Trojan horse. It is here that you can imagine how Troy would have looked like had it been in its full glory to this date. After that, you would be visiting the magnificent acropolis of Pergamon which has some very impressive temples and libraries. These temples and libraries have made Pergamon a renowned cultural and political site in its time and it continues to liberate the thoughts as well. Come back to Ku?adas? for overnight stay. 

Day 3: Visiting Ephesus and Kusadasi

On the third day of the Turkey vacation package, you would get on a guided tour to the most amazing historical place of Ephesus to give a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. The atmosphere around the temple is a mystical one in the ancient city where you can see the ancient theatre before continuing the journey to the former Greek village of Sirince which is known for the quality of its fruit wines. This place is also famous for carpet weaving as Turks love to keep them in their houses and it is known as the carpet village as well. Here, you can learn how to make carpets by hand and their values as well. Stay for the night at Kusadasi. 

Day 4: Visiting Pamukkale and Hierapolis

On the morning of the fourth day, you would be having a local and traditional breakfast after which you can embark on to see the handcrafted leather goods. Once you buy some items as souvenirs, you can head to the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale where you will also get to tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. You can even take a dip in the ancient columns as well as in the hot springs that used to be common in the Roman times for the therapeutic powers of the water. Stay in Pamukkale for the night and enjoy a tasty traditional meal here. 

Day 5: Visiting Silk Road and Konya 

On the fifth day of the tour, you would be traveling on the ancient silk route to visit the ancient Sultanhani Caravansary and the Mevlana Museum which houses some of the well-known marvels of the land and also educate about the cultural practices in ancient Turkey or say the Ottoman Empire. You can also check out how the cultural traditions have changed overtime under the new regime here. In the evening, you can choose to have a traditional Turkish folklore dancing program while staying the night in Cappadocia. 

Day 6: Visiting Cappadocia, Goreme, and the Underground City

Today, you would be marveling at the lunar landscape of the city of Cappadocia through the Goreme Valley open-air museum which has the fairy chimneys while exploring the many levels of the underground city. The meaning of Pamukkale is Cotton Castle and is a natural site created by the hot springs and the travertines due to which terraces of rock pools have been formed from the minerals left by the flowing water. After that, you will be visiting the ancient city of Hierapolis which was built on the top of these travertines and is nearly 3000 m long. Stay in the city of Cappadocia for the night. 

Day 7: Travel to Istanbul and departure

On the morning of the seventh day, it is time to wrap up the tour and head back for departure and hence your tour operator would help you to transfer to Istanbul for transfer procedures. Depending upon the timing of the flight, you can opt for shopping in the city as it a fashion hub itself and has got all the brands from all over the world here as well tending to tourists from all over the world.
