Detailed Itinerary

The Egypt vacation package would consist of 8 days where you would visit more than 10 different locations starting from a visit to the pyramids at Giza. Arriving in Cairo, you will travel to Giza complex, and then to Luxor to start the cruise and to Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut, Aswan and back to Cairo to end the trip. Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

On the first day of the Egypt Vacation, you would be arriving in the beautiful capital city of Cairo to start the vacation package from here. It is here that you would meet your trip coordinator who would take you to the pre-booked hotel to relax. Depending upon the timing of the arrival, you can start to explore the place as today would be a leisure and optional day. You can choose to relax today as the official trip shall start from the next day. However, you should come out in the evening and explore the eateries as some of them are mouth-watering and energizing. Take rest in your pre-booked hotel tonight.

Day 2: Visit Giza Pyramids, Guardian Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

After having breakfast in the hotel, your tour guide will help you transfer to Giza. Today is very important given how these archaeological structures have shaped the history of Egypt as we see today. Despite so much advancement in technology, the real reason for such pyramids and the techniques for such buildings have not been deduced. So, you will start the day’s trip with the visit to the famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenos and their guardian, the Sphinx. These man-made spectacles are so huge that you will have to lift your head completely to see the top of these structures. After that, you will be visiting the famous Egyptian Museum which gives insights into the 4000-year old Egyptian civilization which has been on the move. You also learn about the treasures of Tutankhamen and his amazing world. This is the museum which houses several mummies and you can see and learn about them as well. Spend the evening getting transferred to Luxor to start the sail into the River Nile.  Night stay in Luxor.

Day 3: starting the Nile Cruise from Luxor and visiting Luxor and Karnak Temples

On the morning of the third day, you would get on board the 5 start Nile Cruise ship to get ahead on time to visit all the monuments and archaeological sites situated near the River Nile. So, the first destination for the day would a visit to the world’s largest temple complex known as the Karnak Temple to see the temple of Amun and the Temple of Luxor. Check out the courtyards of the temples and the granite statues of Ramses II and then proceed to visit the Karnak Temples. The temple complex was built by various pharaohs during their time as rulers of Egypt. Explore the Avenue of Sphinxes of the Hypostyle Hall, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarabeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. In the evening, you can go on an optional Sound and Light show in Karnak Temple.

Day 4: Visiting Valley of Kings, Queen Hatshepsut, Esna and Edfu

On the fourth day of the Egypt Vacation package, you will be visiting the West Bank of the River Nile to visit the famous Valley of the Kings, Colossai of Memnon and the Hatshepsut's mortuary Temple. The complex of the Valley of Temples consists of 63 tombs of the Pharaohs. It consists of chambers which range in size from a small pit to a big complex tomb with more than 120 chambers. The size of the tombs depends on the rank of the family and kings and pharaohs. After that, you will make way to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which is widely considered as one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt" and is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari. The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After that, you will ser sail to Edfu where you can have an awesome local dish onboard the ship. It will take an overnight journey to reach Edfu.

Day 5: Visiting Edfu, Kom Ombo and transfer to Aswan

On the fifth day of the trip, you would be visiting the Edfu temple after reaching Edfu in the morning. This temple is one of the best-preserved temples in the country and is dedicated to the falcon God Horus whose legends are still present in the small city. The whole trip to the temple of Horus would take a minimum of 3 hours and then you can return to the ship to have lunch while sailing towards Kom Ombo to visit the Kom Ombo Temple which has been shared by the two gods namely Sobek and Horus. Stay on the cruise for the night while you sail to Aswan.

Day 6: Visiting Aswan, Phiale Temple, Unfinished Obelisk and High Dam

On the morning of the sixth day, you would be spending some time in Aswan where you will begin the tour with a visit to High Dam as well as the largest known ancient obelisk which is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. This unfinished Obelisk is the center of attraction as it is the largest one without being completed fully. You will then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae which has been devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. You can then tour the Nubian Village and the botanical garden after which you would stay onboard the cruise ship for the night.

Day 7: Travelling to Cairo from Aswan

Today, you will disembark from your cruise ship after breakfast. And then visit the famous temple in Egypt Abu Simbel. This temple is known for its importance in shaping the culture of Egypt in the past 1000 years. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the Aswan Train station for a VIP train to Cairo. You will reach Cairo the next morning and be ready for departure.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo

Today is the last day of the trip and you will bid adieu to an amazing experience in this Egypt Vacation package as your trip coordinator would help you transfer to the airport.
