Day 1: Gilleleje

A well-known fishing town, Gilleleje is admired by the local tourists. Relish the chill breeze where the port is a significant part of the town. In case you are wondering what all to see during your Denmark vacation, then know that there’s a lot for you here. Apart from the sweeping fishing town, one can see the fishermen glading all the lines. It was established in the 14th century and is quite enchanting and charming. Day 2: Elsinore

Also famous as Helsingør, Elsinore houses one of the world’s most renowned castles - Kronborg, which has been the setting for Shakespeare’s play Hamlet. For over 80 years, the play has been performed in Elsinore. Founded in the 15th century, the prehistoric medieval fishing village is a fortress as well as a church which is surrounded by convents.
