Detailed Itinerary

Starting from Brisbane, the Australia vacation package would take you to more than 10 locations throughout the country while coming to Cairns to end the trip. Check out the details of the trip here in the Itinerary section –

Day 1: Arrival in Brisbane and Transfer to Noosa

On the first day of the trip, you would be arriving in the mesmerizing city of Brisbane to kick start the best Australia vacation package from here. It is here that you would be meeting your trip guide who would take you to the pre-booked hotel and give you an orientation about the upcoming trip. Once the orientation is done, you would be visiting the Australia Zoo which was made famous by the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin who passed away and his family who were admirers of Crocodiles. Get to see the wildlife of the Australia Zoo as well as the Hospital to see how AAT Kings work with the Warriors of the Zoo to support the rehabilitation of the Koala population here at the largest and busiest wildlife facility of the country. Here, you can check out the shows and wander through the Zoo to see some exotic wildlife. Once you are done visiting the zoo, you will be traveling to the resort town of Noosa for the evening stay. Check out the pool and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. You can even swim at the Noosa Main Beach or many are venture with a local walking group in the evening to see through to the Noosa National Park, another place of interest. Or, try to go for a boat ride through the Noosa Everglades which is one of the most beautiful wilderness areas of Australia where you will love the dark waterways and the myriad of wildlife along the river of Noosa. Get to eat at one of the local eateries of Noosa which also have fancied night lives. Stay for the night here.

Day 2: Visiting Fraser Island from Noosa

On the second day of the tour, you would be all set to explore the wonders. Today, you would be visiting the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island which is another mystery of Australia and a must-visit island when in Australia. You will be checking out the colored sands of the Rainbow Beach on a tidal day and also much more. Then, you will be visiting Lake McKenzie which is another fascinating beach with white sands where you can walk or lie down and relax to your amusement. Then, walk through the ancient rainforests at the Central Station with its huge satiny, scribbly gum and kauri trees and enjoy a delicious lunch before arriving in Hervey Bay. Stay here for the night.

Day 3: from Harvey Bay to Rockhampton

When you wake up today morning in the beautiful country life of Harvey Bay, you will be astonished to see the beautiful morning and fresh air that would ring up your ears. After breakfast, the tour would start with a stop at Ohana Exotic Fruit Orchard where you will be given a guided tour of the orchard and where you would have the opportunity to try some local flavors as well. Later, you will again stop at Langmorn Station which is a fully functional family-run cattle station to see some cattle rearing. Here, you can meet the Creed family and also take a guided tour of the property including the original family homestead, built-in 1873. Also, enjoy the afternoon tea in the garden under the company of the pet kangaroos while crossing the Tropic of Capricorn as the tour moves along when you arrive in Rockhampton which is called the beef capital of Australia. Enjoy the night as you please or try some beef at one of the best steakhouses in the county.

Day 4: From Rockhampton to Hamilton Island

On the morning of the fourth day, you would be traveling north to the sugar town of Sarina which is also called the sugar capital of Australia. Here, you would visit Sarina Sugar Shed which is a miniature sugar mill to understanding how sugar is made. You will get a peek into the production of sugar and the processing of sugar cane. Afterward, you can also taste the product made on-site in front of you with a light lunch at this place. You will then continue to Airlie Beach where you would catch a ferry to Hamilton Island which is among one of the 74 tropical islands which make the Whitsundays. Here, you will be surrounded by beautiful beaches and a kaleidoscope of coral and marine life. When you reach the Hamilton Island, the day would be completely yours to indulge yourself in any activity possible for you. Here, you can try to indulge and relax by the pool or relax on the beach. Also, prefer to hire a buggy and explore the island which has the magnificent backdrop of an azure ocean. Or try to steal the thunder with a long walk on the island with the loved one and try to make the most of it on the beach with some drinks. You can even take an optional cruise onboard the Catamaran to get the best of the islands in the Whitsundays or perhaps relax on the beach in the evenings which also have awesome nightlife where music rules the party on the beach. In the night, you will board a ferry and get back to the mainland where you will continue north along the Bruce Highway to reach the beautiful destination of Mission Beach to stay with the ocean and continue the party here for the next day.

Day 5: from Mission Beach to Cairns

In today’s morning, you will have the best opportunity to explore the best of the Mission Beach by taking a walk along the beautiful shores of the Golden Island and sand under your toes. Once you are done taking the best of the Mission Island, you will travel through the high tropical plateau known as the Atherton Tablelands, where lush rainforests, waterfalls, and lakes abound. You should visit the Millaa Millaa Falls as well as the famous Curtain fig tree which is considered some fancy to have photographed with. Also, check out for the beautiful Ulysses Butterfly which is the rarity of the region. This would be followed by a journey to Kuranda where you will be stopping for lunch in the afternoon and will have the free time to explore the village in the rainforests. From the beautiful farmlands of Kuranda, the journey would move to the tropical plateau known as the Atherton Tablelands, where lush rainforests, waterfalls, and lakes abound. Here, you can enjoy the nightlife as this place is known for before you enjoy the next stop.

Day 6: Visiting the Great Barrier Reef

Today is going to be an exhilarating day where you would be visiting the place which signifies Australia in all the postcard photos. In the morning, you would be boarding a high-speed Catamaran to cruise to the Great Barrier Reef which is among the world heritage. It is the only living organism that you can see from the moon and also the largest known living organism. Here, you will have the opportunity to go snorkeling along with the living natural wonders of the area and see them up close. You will be provided equipment to see them from the front and record the spectacular coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and also from the semi-submersible craft. Once you are done with that, you would be enjoying a tropical buffet lunch when you return to Cairns in the late afternoon.  The night would be yours to enjoy as you get the farewell dinner from the touring side at a restaurant on the Cairns Harbour.

Day 7: Departure from Cairns

Today is the last day of the trip and you would not be willing to say goodbye to the trip as you have so many made here already. Depending upon the timing of the flight, you can go for some shopping here as well and buy some souvenirs that resemble corals.
