Day 1: Yerevan
If you have been looking for real relaxing Armenia vacation packages, this is the best thing for you. It all begins with an exploration of the city!
In the morning: Wander through the streets of Kenton, visit the Surb Sargis Church & the Blue Mosque. Then move on to enjoying the amazing view of the city atop the Cascade and discover the Kond district.
Afternoon Exploration: Explore the Erebuni Fortress and know why history is called rich in Armenia.
Evening Exploration: Enjoy the sweeping bar culture with your “Girl Squad”!
Day 2: Yerevan (Know about Genocide in Armenia)
This day starts with a visit to the Armenian Genocide Museum where you are going to learn about the appalling event that took place in 1915. Move on to visit some of the wonderful Art Galleries and enjoy Armenia styled lunch with your Girl Squad!
In the other half of the day, visit the other museums in the city and particularly the Republic Square. Do experience the amazing singing fountain show. If left with time, spend some time in a nearby park and interact with the locals.
Day 3: Garni and Geghard
Garni and Geghard are part of most Armenia vacation packages! This is the third day of this trip and you will be heading to Garni and Geghard, which is an important landmark of the country. Located at around 30 km from the Yerevan city, Gani best showcases Armenia & the Armenian culture before Christianity. And, it is the Garni temple that is the only Greek-Romanian colonnaded building, which stands intact today. The second stop is going to be the Geghard Monastery, which is around 20 minutes away from Garni. From the beauty and magic that it holds all through these years, the Geghard Monastery has also been mentioned in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Day 4: Khor Virap
The fourth day of the trip is all about visiting Khor Virap monastery complex! Traveling to the monastery is good for two things ~ to explore the site & also it’s popularly known for the amazing view of Mt Ararat. It's a perfect place for both nature lovers who can discover the wildlife along the mountain and also for the history buffs who will get to discover the rich history of the place.
Day 5: Sevan Lake
On the fifth day, you will be traveling from Yerevan to the Seven Lakes! This lake is not only the largest of Armenia, but also of the Caucasus region spanning an area of around 1000 sq. km. This is one of the best parts of all Armenia vacation packages and particularly if you are traveling during the summer season. In fact, it’s the most wonderful alternative to a beach resort where you can beat the heat.
Day 6: Areni
The sixth day of this Armenia vacation with your Girl Squad and you will be visiting Areni town. One of the most popular tourist attractions in the area is Noravank, a beautiful monastery complex. For the surrounding and the edifices, it is also considered one of the most religious buildings in the country. But, before you visit the place, make sure you have an overview about the place. It actually used to be the residence of the princes & bishops. Located beautiful in the midst of the Red Cliffs, Noravank is a beloved part of all Armenia vacation packages. And, if you want to refrain from the crowd, just be an early bird.
Day 7: Tatev
The next stop is Tatev! The place is also known for this beautiful tatev monastery, which is located near the border of Iran. Sitting beautifully at the top of a cliff, overlooking the magical panorama of the Vorontan Gorge makes everyone fall in love with it. You have to cross a cable car to reach the monastery. After this exploration, go back to your hotel & catch up with some sound sleep.
Day 8: Tatev
This is going to be the next day in Tatev! Today you will start with the exploration of the Shaki Waterfall, which is located around 30 minutes away from the Tatev city. You will be amazed to see how the waterfall cascades down from a 18-meter ledge, which has been formed as a result of solidification of the Basalt lava. This is one of the most amazing tourist attractions in Armenia that you should not miss.
Day 9: Dilijan
On the ninth day of the trip, you will be traveling to Dilijan, which is also referred to as “Armenian Switzerland”, and that makes sense. Spend the whole day exploring the city including the Dilijan National Park, and getting amazed at the wonderful Armenian architecture.
Day 10: Dilijan
If you had in your mind, some adventurous activities with your girl gand in your mind when you were looking for Armenia vacation packages, then make sure it’s going to end like that. You will get the chance to hike along the park with experience of different hiking levels & trails.
