Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tbilisi

This is the beginning of your trip and Georgia will welcome you like never before! This day you will be exploring Tbilisi, the beautiful capital of Georgia. Located on the bank of Mtkvari River, this delightful part of the country is great to discover on foot. Start exploration of the day with your fellow travelers after a welcome meeting. 

Day 2: Tbilisi

This is your second day of this vacation and you are going to be in the same destination ~ Tbilisi. Above the Mtkvari River, the historically rich town clung upon with the beautifully colorful Old Town gives thousands of reasons to every type of travelers to plan for Armenia vacation packages. Today, you will be visiting Sioni Church, Narikala Fortress, and Metekhi Cathedral. After this visit you will understand what has resulted in this diverse architecture & the assortment of historical sites. 

In the evening, after lunch, stroll around Rustaveli Avenue moving towards the amazing Georgian National Museum, where you are going to learn about plenty of historical stories. Then enjoy the amazing cuisines and the great hospitality, which is one of the best things about the state of Georgia. After this, you will be moving towards  Kakheti province, which is the place where winemaking is supposed to have been invented somewhere around 8,000 years ago. This is an important part of almost all Armenia vacation packages for the fact that the winemaking culture of Georgia has been recognized by UNESCO. 

Day 3: Sighnaghi

This day is an opportunity for travelers to enjoy wine tasting and learning about the winemaking culture of Georgia. You will sample some of the best wines produced in the country and discover more about hospitality. This day, you will also be visiting the estate of Alexander Chavchavadze and the chateau. This gets you to explore the Georgian nation. 

Day 4: Gori

On the fourth day, you will be continuing towards the small town of Gori, which is the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. After this exploration, you will make your way towards the gargi town located in the vicinity and them towards the spa town of Borjomi towards the south and towards Akhaltsikhe. Here you will be visiting the Rabat Fortress in the Old Town, synagogue, Castle, mosques, and more. At the end of this trip, get back to your den and catch up on some sound sleep to prepare for the next day. 

Day 5: Georgia

This is going to be your journey through the medieval monastery complex of Vardzia in Georgia, which is believed to have been built from the mountainside. There was a time when there used to be around 50,000 inhabitants and today it has become one of the most inspiring tourist attractions of the Caucasus.

Almost all Armenia vacation packages including the Georgian landscape take this route to enter the country of Armenia. With this, you are going to enter in the Armenian capital Yerevan and on the way, you are going to explore Gyumri, the cultural capital of Armenia. 

Armenia was the first country to have adopted Christianity as its national religion & therefore there are obviously going to be undeniably a huge number of historically educating and architecturally rich tourist attractions to visit. You will definitely be seeing some of the best structures and learn about much of the history. 

Day 6: Yerevan

The most wonderful thing about Yerevan is the beautiful blend of the new & the old ~ both in the same frame you will get to see so much of contradictions. This is the sixth day of this vacation and you will stroll around the city visiting different tourist attractions including Geghard Monastery & Garni Temple. And, then visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Zvartnots.

Day 7: Hermon

With most Armenia vacation packages, a visit to the village of Hermon is a must! On the way to Hermon, you are going to stop by Khndzoresk village which is incredible evidence of the rich history of Armenia. Thereafter, you can continue towards Karahunj and its mysterious tones, Stonehenge. This will continue towards the Vayots Dzor region to see the amazing waterfall of the Jermuk village.

Day 8: Hermon

This is your second day in Hermon village and today you will move a little in the southern direction. You will enjoy the amazing view of Mt. Ararat at Khor Virap and then will move towards the Arena wine region making your way towards Noravank Monastery. Also, travel through the gravity-defying monastery at Tatev. 

Day 9: Yerevan
