A Chilling Experience of Iceland Trip

I just returned from a wonderful week in Iceland. The travel company planned a wonderful week tour for me and my fiance.  The travel agent wasn't fazed when we threw in the surprise of getting married on New Year's Eve just two weeks before the trip. She took us to the office in order to finish our paperwork, coordinated with us to meet the officiant and photographer, and took many pictures too.  We loved having her at our wedding!

The rest of the trip was just perfect.  Hotels and resorts were all great. We got to all the attractions of the South Coast. We also got to learn tons from our travel agent about Iceland’s history and geography and also about the present economic and government situation.   We thoroughly enjoyed those discussions and it really added to our overall understanding of a wonderful country.

Our private guide had a new Land Rover and so we felt secure driving in the snow and ice. The agent also provided us with crampons for walking on the ice.
