Iceland Tour Review

We just returned from a marvelous week in Iceland.  Our tour agent planned an excellent week for us and wasn't embarrassed when we threw in the wrinkle of getting married on New Year's Eve two weeks before our tour.  He took us to the office to complete our paperwork, helped organize where we would join the officiant and photographer, and took more pictures too. We enjoyed having him at our wedding!

The rest of the tour was excellent too.  Accommodations were all excellent. We went to all the highlights of the South Coast even though we did a lot of driving because we desired to be in Reykjavik on New Year's Eve, the program wasn't in the order that would have been best but that was our fault.  
We got tons from our tour agent about the history and geography of Iceland as well as the current economic and government condition.   We really liked being able to have those conversations and it added to our overall excellent of a wonderful country.
As others have stated, he has a new Land Rover with studded tires so we felt protected driving in the snow and ice.  Our agent also equipped us with crampons for trekking on the ice.
