Amazing Private Tour Of Versailles

Because we had very little time in Paris, I booked the 1/2 day Versailles tour ahead of time. When I emailed questions to this travel company, they were answered quickly. I was provided the name and phone number of our tour guide, Frederic, ahead of time, and he arrived at our hotel to pick us up on time. He expertly navigated Paris traffic, and at my request took me past the school in Versailles where I was a prof many years ago. This was my daughter and grandson's first trip to France. I've had the pleasure of visiting the palace many times, but because of time constraints, we had to get to Versailles a few hours after our 10-hour flight, so I was happy to leave the driving and tour to an expert. Frederic has years of guiding experience, and you will be delighted with him. He is very well-informed and tailors his information to the age and interests of those with him. It was 96 degrees the day we were there, so we requested limiting the time in the blazing sun of the gardens, and Frederic took us to the old stables, now the carriage museum, which I had never seen in all my prior visits.

I regret that we didn't have time to take the Louvre tour with Frederic as he spoke of the 3 rooms of Versailles furnishings which are now there.

This was my first experience with Best of France Tours, but I highly recommend them for their professionalism and dependability.
