Cuba Travel Review

We are just back from a wonderful trip to Cuba. Cuba is a beautiful country. We have visited many places including Havana and Las Terrazas. Typically, Havana is on any panel of must-sees in Cuba. With a plenty of flights from hub cities (including some from the US now) flying directly there, it’s simpler than ever to visit Cuba’s capital. Possibly best known for its beautiful “stuck in time” feel, Havana is at once wonderful and intimate. The streets of Old Havana are packed with colonial buildings and old American cars.

During your stay in Havana, you can’t miss a walk along the Malecon (sea wall), a visit to the Museum of the Revolution, and a stroll past or a mojito in the bars that Ernest Hemingway used to visit regularly, La Floridita and La Bodeguita del Medio.

Come out of the city and step into nature in Las Terrazas. This small town and nature reserve is settled about an hour south of Havana. It extends over 5000 ha of reforested land planted on terraced hills (hence the name) and has been a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1984. The town itself is made up of about 1,000 residents who are farmers, artists, musicians, guesthouse owners, and others. We got the chance to explore these things with this travel company.
