A Fascinating Cruise Ship Experience From Bagan to Mandalay In Myanmar Tour

From our arrival at the quayside in Mandalay until we departed in Bagan this was a truly relaxing and fascinating experience.the crew were unfailingly charming and really wanted us to enjoy the trip. The food was fine and eating under a shady canopy whilst slowly meandering along the river was lovely. Over all this is one of the best Myanmar tour packages.

We viewed a beautiful sunrise before breakfast and arrived in Bagan for sunset.The visit to the village en route was interesting and provided some excellent photo opportunities.we also learned about tying Longyi and the yellow paste Thanatkhar which helped while away the afternoon for those of us not dozing ! We enjoyed our cruise in Myanmar and this was a fabulous way to see some of the country. The boat was very comfortable with air conditioning and modern seating in the main floor and an open air upper level with lounge chairs, table & chairs, bar and food service. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The best part was a stop at a small village to visit the families, homes, straw hat business and animals.

We  took this trip Bagan to Mandalay, and it was a great way to spend a day - not only travelling but sight-seeing at the same time! As we cruised along at a nice pace you could sit on the top deck and see the daily life along the banks of the River Irrawaddy, golden temples shining in the sun. Or you could take a nap downstairs in the air-conditioned section.

We cannot compare this to other cruises but the intimacy of the small boat and total lack of pressure on the voyage was truly relaxing and we would recommend this tour company to anyone wanting to get to Bagan from Mandalay.
