Day 1: Arrival in High Atlas Mountains

Your journey begins today upon your arrival at Marrakesh airport where a private guide will be waiting to transfer you directly into the High Atlas Mountains to a relaxing hotel. After check-in, enjoy some downtime at your leisure and soak up the beautiful views.

 

Day 2: Exploring High Atlas Mountains

Today, you’ll be out exploring the panoramic scenery on a guided hike through the Ourika Valley accompanied by a guide. The difficulty range for hiking routes vary from easy to difficult, so your guide can customize the hike to suit you. On the way, you’ll stop in a traditional village to spend some quality time with a local family in their home, sharing tales over a cup of mint tea.

 

Day 3: Heading to Marrakesh

This morning you will travel to Marrakesh and transferred to your riad, which is situated in the heart of the medina. Spend the entire afternoon today relaxing on the roof terrace or venturing out to explore the souqs.

 

Day 4: A Full-Day Tour of Marrakesh

Get ready today to enjoy a full-day tour of Marrakesh, thus visiting the major historical sites including the Saadien Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Jewish Quarter and the Bahia Palace. Later, your afternoon will be focused on the cultural side of the city, meandering your way through the various artisan areas within the souqs. End your day perfectly with delicious dinner in the Djemaa el Fna, which is lively with food stalls, scribes, henna artists and musical performers every evening.

 

Day 5: Visiting Granada

Today, you’ll have time to explore one final attraction in Morocco, the Hassan II Mosque, which is an exquisite example of Moroccan architecture situated around two and a half hours away in Casablanca. After the tour, traverse to Casablanca International Airport to catch a flight to Malaga in southern Spain. Upon arrival, a private guide will transfer you to the historic city of Granada and to your next hotel.

 

Day 6: A Guided Tour of Granada

You’ll continue your exploration of Islamic architecture today on a guided tour of Spain's Alhambra Palace and the city of Granada. The Alhambra was constructed by Moorish kings during their rule of southern Spain and demonstrates the ornate styles and geometric designs of the empire. Later in the afternoon, make your way to the old Moorish quarter and the Capilla Real, where the first Catholic rulers of Granada, Ferdinand, and Isabella, are buried.

 

Day 7: Venturing to Seville

Today, you’ll traverse to Seville, stopping en route to explore Ronda, with its Roman bridge and plunging gorges.

 

Day 8: A Walking Tour of Seville

This morning, get ready for a walking tour of Seville to witness the city's major attractions, such as the Giralda Tower and the Real Alcázar. The afternoon is entirely yours to enjoy at leisure, taking a tapas tour of the city and ending at a special flamenco performance.

 

Day 9: A Relaxing Day in Seville

Enjoy your final day to relax in Seville at your leisure. Wander through the city's historic lanes or take a walk along the Guadalquivir river.

 

Day 10: Departure Back Home
