Day 1: Arriving at Barcelona

Your Spanish journey will begin today as you arrive into Barcelona, capital of the Catalonia region. Upon arrival, you'll be met by your private guide and transferred to your hotel located centrally for a bit of down time to relax and absorb the vibe of the city.

 

Day 2: Exploring Barcelona

Today, cycle through the streets of Barcelona and get to know the city, stopping to sample tapas. Take in sights along the way like the cathedral and La Rambla.

 

Day 3: Cooking Session in Barcelona

This morning, get ready to join a cooking session by diving head first into Spanish cuisine and learn how to prepare one of Spain’s famous dishes, paella.

 

Day 4: Wine Tasting Tour in Barcelona

Today, relish tours and private tastings at several wineries located in the Penedès region, which is famous for producing the world-famous sparkling wine of Spain, cava.

 

Day 5: Heading to Madrid

This morning, you’ll board a high-speed train from Barcelona to Madrid, the capital city of Spain. After checking into your luxurious hotel, embark on a panoramic tour of the city. Venture through the heart of the city before being rushed to the outskirts of the city by to explore further.

 

Day 6: Exploring Madrid

Today, you’ll be whisked outside of Madrid to visit the historic capital of Spain, Toledo. Explore its medieval streets and distinctive architectural styles. Day 7: Visiting Ezcaray

Day 8: Wine Tasting in Ezcaray

Rioja is famous for its wines. Today you'll spend the entire day experiencing several of the vintages that emerge from the area. Embark on tours and relish tastings at a selection of various wineries throughout the region, relishing a curated wine-tasting lunch en route.

 

Day 9: Experiencing Food Culture in San Sebastian

Today make your way north from La Rioja to San Sebastian in Spain's Basque Country, famous for boasting one of the highest concentrations of Michelin stars per capita in the entire world. Experience the renowned food culture of the city through a tasting tour of pintxos.

 

Day 10: More of San Sebastian

This morning, get ready to experience the unique culinary history of San Sebastian as you relish lunch in a gastronomic society, which are usually open only to members. Buy ingredients for and then as the guest of a member of the society prepare the meal. You will be explained the history of these clubs later on. In the afternoon, you'll get some free time to enjoy the gorgeous beaches of San Sebastian.

 

Day 11: Venturing to Seville

Today, head west of San Sebastian to visit Bilbao and its art museums, including the world-famous Guggenheim. After spending enough time in the city, make your way to the airport and catch a flight south to Andalusia, to spend some time in Seville.

 

Day 12: City Tour of Seville

This morning, you’ll tour Seville exploring the different architecture and learning about the history behind its distinctive style. Later in the evening, enjoy an expert flamenco performance before you embark on a tapas tour with your private guide.

 

Day 13: A Tour of Pig Farm in Seville

Southern Spain is also famous for producing Spanish ham. You are going to tour a pig farm and also ham producer today where you'll learn about how the pigs are raised, the distinction between various kinds of Spanish ham and, of course, taste some for yourself.

 

Day 14: Cooking Session in Seville
