Day 1: Arrive in Ljubliana

You will arrive at Ljubljana by taking a direct flight! From the small coffee shops that can be seen in the lobby, you can get to buy a SIM card for data only, if you want one. There is also a vending machine, just outside the airport, meant for calling and text with SIM cards for data. There is also an ATM in the vicinity that adds to the ease. You can then take a taxi or a shuttle to get down to your hotel. Just after stepping into one of the best Slovenian tourist places, it is the dragon bridge that you will be noticing first. Legends say that whenever a virgin will cross the bridge, dragon will wiggle its tail. It’s unquestionably a magical view you should never miss when you are in there in Slovenia. This small town that you can probably see from the Tivoli Park or from the castle has a magic-wand. The dragons, those Easter egg colored eggs and the castles on the hills look like fairy tale locations.

Day 2: Ljubliana – The castle, the pink Franciscan church

It’s a great idea to start it off a little earlier if you want to check out every nook and cranny of the city. The castle opens at 9 AM and so you can begin by hiking up through the castle. Right after the bridge, there is a funicular and it moves al straight to the castle. But, you can also opt to walk up! It will take you around an hour at the castle, to see the old prison (with scary sound), the museum of puppetry, and much more. While moving down the hills, you can get to try some local food at Klobasarna including struklji and Carnolian sausage. The amazing architectural work of the city is highlighted from its pink Franciscan church. It was designed by the Joze Plecnic. You can also check in here Metelkova which is a tiny group of artists. Day 3: Lake Bled

To see Lake Bled, you will need half of hour day! This lake is situated in the Northwestern Slovenia in the Julian Alps and it connects the Bled town. It is situated 55 km away from Ljubljana. Not only in pictures, the place is a real beauty when seen from your eyes. The pleasing green-bluish lake, the medieval castle that cling to the rocky cliff, pretty church and a few of the Julian Alps peaks, Bled is definitely one of the most sought after locations of Slovenia. Day 4: Karst and Piran
