Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Bucharest – Sibiu 

Romania’s most romantic city is Sibiu where the marvelous squares, wonderful baroque architecture, and the picturesque colored houses are exceptionally fascinating. Walking in the old center to visit the Romanian Art Gallery will serve you with the unwanted surprises. This gallery is located in the baroque Blue House.

Wander around the Huet Square and Little Square of Sibiu. The noteworthy recommended destinations to visit are

You can easily spend your Day 1 in Sibiu covering all such places.

Day 2: Sibiu to Alba Iulia to Turda & Cluj

Step ahead towards Bârsana, where the region’s wooden heritage shows the Bârsana Monastery. The mandatory place to visit here is wooden churches of Maramures because Bârsana is also a home to Teodor Bârsan, artist.

Day 4: Barsana to Voronet

Lead towards Bucovina and the village of Voronet which is truly spectacular. It is also known as the ‘Sistine Chapel of the East’. Also, visit the famous churches of Humor, Moldovita, and Sucevita. The interesting fact is that Moldovita village is meant for the Painted Eggs Museum, where the pieces of work of Lucia Condrea was exhibited.

Day 5: Voronet to Piatra Neam? to Bicaz Gorges & Sighisoara

Reaching Sighisoara will take you to the city of Piatra Neamt which is the famous cities in the Moldova region. Here, you can easily discover the following places:
