Day 1: Arrival in Muscat

After arriving in Muscat, the capital city of Oman, your private guide will transfer you to your luxurious hotel. Settle in at your hotel and then embark on a walking tour of the beautiful Mutrah Corniche. Admire the stunning views of the city's coastline, and explore the bustling Mutrah Souq, known for its colorful textiles, spices, and jewelry. Stop for a traditional Omani lunch at one of the many local eateries in the area, and continue your walking tour to the Al Alam Palace, the official residence of the Sultan of Oman. End your day with a sunset cruise along the coast, and indulge in a delicious dinner onboard while taking in the breathtaking views.

Day 2: Muscat City Exploration

Get ready for a full day of exploration in the city of Muscat. Start the day with a visit to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Admire the impressive architecture and intricate design of this beautiful place of worship. Next, head to the Muttrah Souq, a vibrant marketplace where you can browse local goods and souvenirs, from spices to textiles and traditional Omani crafts. Take a guided walk through the winding alleys and marvel at this bustling bazaar's sights, sounds, and smells.

Day 3: Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to the ancient city of Nizwa, about one and a half hours away from Muscat. Once there, you will visit the iconic Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century and known for its impressive architecture and historical significance. Next, you will explore the bustling Nizwa Souq, where you can purchase local handicrafts, spices, and souvenirs.

 

In the afternoon, you will head to the picturesque Jebel Akhdar mountain range, also known as the "Green Mountain," located about an hour from Nizwa. Here, you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape and enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch. Afterward, take a leisurely walk or hike to explore the area before returning to your hotel in Nizwa for dinner.

Day 4: Wahiba Sands

Embark on a private two-hour drive to the Wahiba Sands for an unforgettable desert adventure. This desert region is home to some of the most beautiful dunes in the world, and you'll have the opportunity to experience them up close. Take a thrilling camel ride through the dunes, followed by an exhilarating dune bashing in a 4x4 vehicle. Meet a Bedouin family and learn about their unique way of life. Day 6: Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

Day 7: Return to Muscat
