Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Quito

Meet your private guide, who will transfer you to your luxury hotel. Later, visit the amazingly preserved Historical Center, followed by a walking tour to The Old Town to explore architecture dating from the 16th to the 19th century. 

Day 2: There is more to Quito!

Visit a few world-class museums, including the extensive art collection at the Museo del Banco Central and the Museo de la Ciudad, where scenes from Ecuador's history are reenacted live hourly. In the evening, stroll through the Parque La Carolina followed by a ride on the Teleferico cable car. Have a lavish dinner and return to you hotel.

Day 3. A Day Tour of Otavalo

You will get a private transfer to Otavalo, about 1.5 hours from Quito. Witness the indigenous population known as the Otavalos, a group of men and women with long tresses in their traditional dress. Visit the weekly Mercado Artesanal, one of the most popular outdoor markets in the Andes. Learn about the local culture at Museo del Pueblo Kichwa and take a quick trip to the beautiful Peguche Waterfall, only two miles from town, where you will have dinner before returning to your accommodation for the night.

Day 4. Visiting Tena

Venture with your private guide on a four-hour road trip to Tena. Explore the caves of the underground labyrinth known as Cuevas de Jumandy. Go on a canoe tour through the Amazon to explore the Ecuadorian jungle, learn about indigenous tribes, and take in the cultural richness. You will have traditional cuisine for lunch and dinner. 

Day 5. Heading to Baos

Embark on a two hour and thirty minutes drive to Baos, situated under the shadow of the marvelous Tungurahua Volcano, in the Ecuadorian Andes highlands. Experience the thrill of descending a waterfall by rappelling, gliding over the spectacular Manto de la Novia Waterfalls via cable car. Pedal down the exhilarating Pailn del Diablo trail, and raft down the Pastaza River. Recuperate after the day's adventures in one of the hot spas, some of which include breathtaking waterfall views from which to unwind.

Day 6. Cuenca offers thrilling experiences

Board on a fifty-minute flight from Baos to Cuenca followed by a guided tour to explore the impressive collection at the Museo del Banco Central and Pumapungo. Then, move to the Amaru Zoo and spot rare species of animals. Spend the evening in Parque Calderon and explore El Sagrario, a 19th-century church. Enjoy an unforgettable night by heading to Barranco, a riverwalk destination with paved trails, cafes, bars, and shops. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7. Experience Life at Guayaquil

Your guide will take you on a three-hour private car ride to Guayaquil- a port city famous for delicious seafood and diverse culture. Explore the Parque Histrico, home to several historic buildings and majestic gardens. Visit the butterfly farm at the Jardn Botnico. Later in the evening, hit the famous Salinas beach for a whale-watching boat ride. Enjoy a seafood dinner and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 8: Departure

Your private guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
