Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Buenos Aires! City tour and a Night of Tango

Arrive in Buenos Aires. Accompany your private guide to your lavish hotel in Buenos Aires. After you relax, head out to explore life in the Argentine capital. Start sightseeing in the pleasant neighborhoods of Palermo and Belgrano. Spot a local parrilla (grill) to savor the finest Argentine beef alongside delicious Malbecs. You will then grasp the history of the San Telmo streets.

In the afternoon, begin a guided tour of Retiro's bustling streets and Palermo's tranquil walkways, then walk along the widest avenue in the world, Avenida de 9 de Julio, in the center of the capital. Gaze at the impressive attractions like the towering Obelisk near downtown, the Teatro Colon, the citys main opera house, and one of the five most acoustically superb concert halls. Return to your hotel.

Day 2: Iguazu Falls - Discovering a Natural Wonder

In the morning, board a flight with your guide, taking you to the Argentina-Brazil border near the spectacular Iguazu falls. Cross the border to view the extensive Iguazu from its shores in Brazil, a view worth witnessing. (Visa is required for US citizens to enter Brazil). Also, you are free to discover the phenomenal surroundings around your hotel.

In the evening, uncover the Argentine side of the majestic falls. You will get dazzled by nearly 300 cascades this region features. Make your way to the hotel later.

Day 3: On to Wine Country

After breakfast, your guide sets you up on a flight to the foothills of the Andes, a center of Argentina's booming wine industry. Walk through famed wineries in Mendoza, and savor rich Argentine wine.

Day 4: Flight Back to Buenos Aires

Take a morning flight with your guide to Buenos Aires for one final night in Argentina.

Head out to shop for the finest goods at Florida Street in Microcentro or Recoleta. You will enjoy a visit to El Ateneo Grand Splendid, once a theater, now one of the most beautiful bookstores on the planet. You will later dine at one of the best parrillas in the city.

Day 5: International Departure

Your memorable trip from the bustling capital and natural treasure of Iguazu to the finest wine region concludes today. Your guide will help you board a flight for your international departure.
