Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Amman

Start your Jordan adventure with a visit to the capital city of Amman. Upon arrival, meet your private guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. Later, head out to explore the city's ancient landmarks and modern attractions. Begin with a visit to the Roman Theater, one of Amman's most popular tourist sites. Take a short walk to the nearby Citadel, a historic site with stunning city views. For lunch, sample some local Jordanian cuisine at Hashem's, a popular restaurant in downtown Amman. Enjoy some hummus, falafel, and other Middle Eastern dishes before continuing your sightseeing in the city. In the evening, head to Rainbow Street, one of the city's liveliest areas, for dinner and drinks.

Day 2: Visiting Jerash and Ajloun

Today, visit the ancient city of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world. Walk along the streets of the old city and imagine life during the Roman Empire. Highlights of the site include the Temple of Artemis, the Hippodrome, and the Arch of Hadrian. For lunch, stop at the nearby town of Ajloun, where you can enjoy traditional Jordanian dishes at a local restaurant. After lunch, head to Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century fortress that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. In the evening, return to Amman for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Exploring Wadi Rum

After breakfast, head to the stunning desert landscape of Wadi Rum (a four-hour journey), a protected area of sandstone and granite rock formations. Take a 4x4 tour of the desert, stopping to explore canyons, arches, and dunes. You can also go hiking, camel riding, or hot air ballooning. For lunch, enjoy a traditional Bedouin meal at a desert camp, where you can relax in a traditional Bedouin tent and watch the sunset over the dunes. Spend the night in Wadi Rum at one of the desert camps, where you can sleep under the stars and experience the magic of the desert.

Day 4: Journey To Petra

Today, drive two hours and visit ancient Petra, one of Jordan's most popular attractions. Walk through the narrow Siq, a canyon that leads to the stunning Treasury building carved into the rock face. Continue to explore the rest of the city, including the Royal Tombs, the Monastery, and the Roman Theater. For lunch, stop at one of the many local restaurants in Petra, where you can enjoy a delicious meal of Jordanian specialties. In the evening, head back to your hotel in Petra for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Little Petra and Wadi Mujib

Hop on a thirty-minute drive to visit Little Petra, a smaller, lesser-known version of the famous ancient city. Explore the tombs and temples of this beautiful site, which was once a trading hub for caravans passing through the area. After lunch, drive a further two hours to Wadi Mujib, a nature reserve that offers stunning canyons, waterfalls, and hiking trails. Take a hike through the Siq Trail, which includes a beautiful hike through a narrow canyon with waterfalls and pools. For the more adventurous, you can opt for the Wet Trail, which provides for swimming and hiking through the river. In the evening, head to a local restaurant in the town of Madaba for dinner, where you can enjoy traditional Jordanian dishes and relax after a day of adventure.

Day 6: Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea

Today, visit Mount Nebo, an important religious site where Moses is said to have first seen the Promised Land. Enjoy stunning views of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from this hilltop site. After lunch, head to the Dead Sea (just an hours drive away), the lowest point on earth and a popular tourist destination for its therapeutic properties. Take a swim in the salty water or relax on the shore, where you can cover yourself in the mineral-rich mud. In the evening, head back to your hotel near the Dead Sea for dinner.

Day 7: Dana Nature Reserve

After breakfast, take a two-hour drive to visit the stunning Dana Nature Reserve, which covers over 300 square kilometers of breathtaking landscape. Hike through the reserve, enjoying views of the canyons and wildlife, including ibex, hyrax, and other animals. For lunch, stop at one of the local restaurants in the nearby town of Dana, where you can enjoy traditional Jordanian cuisine. After lunch, continue your hike through the reserve or relax in the beautiful surroundings. In the evening, head to your hotel in the nearby town of Feynan, where you can enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and relax under the stars

Day 8: Feynan and Little Petra

Today, visit the small town of Feynan, a traditional Bedouin village where you can experience the culture and lifestyle of the Bedouin people. Take a village tour, learn about their way of life, and enjoy traditional Bedouin tea. After lunch, head back to Little Petra for further exploration. Enjoy a hike through the canyon, where you can see ancient tombs and temples carved into the rock. In the evening, head to a local restaurant in the nearby town of Wadi Musa for dinner. You can enjoy a delicious dinner and relax after a day of adventure.

Day 9: Petra and Shobak Castle

Return to Petra for further exploration of this incredible ancient city. Take a different route through the site, visiting different tombs and temples and enjoying stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After lunch, head to Shobak Castle, a 12th-century fortress once a stronghold for the Crusaders. Explore the castle and enjoy views of the surrounding area. 

Day 10: Exploring Aqaba

Today, travel approximately 2 hours from Wadi Musa to Aqaba, a beautiful seaside city on the Red Sea. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, or simply relax on the beach. You can also take a boat tour of the area, exploring the stunning coral reefs and underwater world of the Red Sea. For lunch, stop at one of the local seafood restaurants in Aqaba, where you can enjoy fresh fish and other local specialties. In the evening, head to one of the bars or restaurants in the city for dinner, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere and beautiful views of the sea.

Day 11: Departure

Today, get private transport and depart from King Hussein International Airport for a flight back home with your memories of an incredible adventure in Jordan.
