Arrive in Banglore and meet your private guide at the airport, who will escort you to your hotel. After you settle down, venture out to sightsee Bangalores famed attractions - Lalbagh Botanical Garden, ISKCON Temple, Vidhana Soudha, and Cubbon Park. Later, you will spend time shopping for silk items and other handicrafts. In the evening, sample delicious south Indian dishes. Return to your hotel for some rest.
Day 2: Ooty - The Blue Mountains
After breakfast, make your way to the next attraction, Ooty. After around 6 hours, you will arrive in Ooty, which nestles in the beautiful Nilgiri hills. Feel the scenic treasures of Ooty, also known as The Blue Mountains - sprawling grassland, charming lakes, mighty mountains, dense forests, and captivating tea gardens. En route, see Pykara Waterfall and Mudumalai National Park.
Day 3: Ooty & Coonoor
Initiate the sightseeing of the beautiful Ooty with your guide today. Then proceed to see the spectacles of Coonoor Tea Gardens, Dolphin Nose, and Lambs rock. Later, board a train back to Ooty to visit Ooty lake, Botanical Gardens, Rose Garden, and Doddabetta.
Day 4: Mysore - The Perfect Blend of Rajput, Hindu, Gothic & Islamic Style
Make an early departure with your guide from Ooty to reach Mysore. Once you arrive, start visiting the Chamundi hills. Explore Mysores prominent destinations - Mysore Zoo, World famous Mysore Palace, and St. Philomenas Church. During the evening, tour the Brindavan Gardens (KRS). Day 5: Coorg - Bylukuppe Tibetan Settlement, & Abbi waterfalls
After breakfast, leave with your guide for Coorg! En route, visit Bylukuppe Tibetan Settlement (Golden Temple), the largest Tibetan settlement in India. Explore the various temples and monasteries this place boasts. Later, venture out to famous spots like Alikebbi waterfalls and Omkareshwara Temple.
Day 6: Coorg - Dubare Elephant Camp
Begin your full-day exploration in Coorg by visiting the Dubare Elephant camp on the bank of River Kaveri. Witness the sight of many elephants being bathed and fed. Enjoy the Elephant ride and wander around the area. Also, opt for bird watching. Afterward, move on to Talacauveri, the origin place of the Kaveri River. Then you can visit Bhagamandala, the meeting point of the Sujyothi, Kaveri, and Kanike Rivers.
Day 7: Coorg to Bangalore - International Departure
Head back to Bangalore! En route, see Kaveri Nisargadhama and Srirangapatana. Your South Indian tour will end as your guide will escort you to the airport in Bangalore for a flight back home.
