Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Paris - Welcome to France!


Arrive in Paris and meet your Paris tour guide in the arrivals hall for the private transfer to your hotel.

After check-in, begin your introductory tour of Paris with the Eiffel Tower which was the tallest building in the world when it was unveiled in 1889. Enjoy direct access to the Eiffel Tower summit floor and be amazed at the views from the top of the tower. Then, board a sightseeing river cruise on the Seine. Finish the evening with a gourmet meal at a restaurant near your hotel.

Day 2: Paris - Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre


Set out with your private guide today on a full-day private tour of the most prestigious monuments and streets of Paris. Start at the Arc De Triomphe, built to honor those who died fighting for France. Pass great sites on your way to the Louvre, where you will see unmissable and iconic artwork such as the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. While these are the most famous, there are many more notable works of art to discover as the museum showcases 35,000 works of art!

 

Day 3: Paris - Montmartre & Sacre Coeur


Today’s private tour begins with Montmartre. Artists from around the globe have flocked here over the years, giving the neighborhood an artistic and bohemian charm. Your guide will show you the best street art and galleries to get a better sense of the artists’ community here.  Montmartre is crowned by the wonderful hill-top Sacre Coeur Basilica, it is a beautiful place to visit and the panoramic views from the top are equally impressive. Finish the tour with a visit to the famous Montmarte Cemetery. If you like, you can continue in Montmarte on your own to enjoy the nightlife, or return to your hotel.

 

Day 4: Paris - Palace of Versailles


Spend your last day in Paris visiting the famous Palace of Versailles. Your guide will escort you there by train and spend the day taking you on an in-depth tour of the palace. This edifice, famously the former home of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, is the epitome of opulence. The incredible art pieces, antiquities, beautiful gardens, and grand rooms are breathtaking. First tour the interior, including the stunning Hall of Mirrors. Then, head outside to stroll through the beautiful and expansive gardens and some of the smaller palaces on the grounds. Return to Paris late in the afternoon.

Day 5: The Normandy Region


Check out of your hotel, and proceed with your guide by private car to the Normandy Region (a little over 3 hours). You will explore the many facets of Normandy–the wild orchids, Camembert cheese, World War II history, and the charismatic coastal towns. Today you will see Arromanches Beach, site of the Normandy Invasion of World War II; the American Cemetery at Colleville; the museum that holds the Bayeux Tapestry, and the village Camembert to taste the well-known cheese produced there. At the end of the day, check into your seaside hotel for your final night in France.

 

Day 6: Say Goodbye to France

 

This morning, your guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure flight.
