Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Quito

Upon arrival at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport, you will meet your guide, escorting you to a luxurious hotel in Ecuador. Set on a guided three-hour walking tour of the city to enjoy the magnificent view of the snow-capped volcanoes, the churches, and the local market. In the evening,  grab a wine and have dinner at a premium restaurant before returning to your hotel. 

Day 2: Quito

Your guide will drive you to the Ciudad Mitad del Mundo to see the famous Equator line. Then, head to the Mercado to experience the local food market and have delicious food for lunch. Proceed to the Intian Museum to learn more about Ecuadors indigenous tribes, and watch a demonstration of the Coriolis Effect. Indulge in the dance performances and live music while having a lavish dinner and some wine. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Otavalo Valley, Ecuador

Set off with your private guide on a one hour and thirty minutes drive to Otalvo. Check-in at your hotel. Go on a rose Plantation Tour in the afternoon in the Otavalo valley- a famous exporter of roses worldwide. Then, enjoy your lunch at the 17th-century Hacienda. In the evening, learn wooden Andean flute-making and demonstration of weaving from the locals. Have dinner at a gourmet restaurant and return to your hotel.

Day 4: Galapagos Islands

Get a private transfer to the Mariscal Sucre Airport and board a three-hour flight to San Cristobal. Meet your private guide, who will transfer you to the luxury cruise of Galapagos Legend to enjoy a mouth-watering lunch and check in for a stay onboard. Stop at the Interpretation center and learn about the history of the Galapagos, its global importance, its challenges, and the conservation measures. Then, trek the Cerro Tijeretas (also known as Frigatebird Hill) to spot the two species of frigatebirds and enjoy a stunning panorama of the bay below. Enjoy a lavish dinner on your luxury cruise. 

Day 5: Garden Bay (Espaola Island) & Punta Saurez

Continue your journey to Gardner Bay. Enjoy snorkeling in the turquoise water of this four-million-year-old island, home to sea lions, green sea turtles, and Darwins finches. Enjoy lunch while soaking in the sun at the beach and spotting Hood mockingbirds. Head to your next destination, Punta Suarez- a naturalists paradise. On landing, you will be greeted by a colony of marine iguanas and sea lions; take a stroll on the island and find endemic lizards, gulls, and the endemic waved albatross. Head back to your cruise for dinner. 

Day 6:Floreana Island (Oldest Post Office) & Devils Crown

On landing, take a short walk with your skipper to the famous Post Office Barrel from the beach. Proceed through a palo santo forest to a powdery white beach and see the diamond stingrays and white-tipped reef sharks as you paddle barefoot in shallow water. Then, head to the Devils crown for lunch, and go swimming with large schools of yellow-tailed surgeonfish, Salema, and creole fish. Also, spot turtles, spotted eagle rays, parrotfish, and even hammerhead sharks! Return to the cruise for dinner.

Day 7: Santa Cruz Island

Your next destination is Santa Cruz, at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Learn about conserving biodiversity as your private guide takes you through various educational exhibits and displays, such as shells from several tortoise species, including massive tortoises, small turtles, and land iguanas. 

 

Day 8: International Departure

You will disembark at Guayaquil and meet your guide, who will take you to the Guayaquil International Airport for your international departure.
