On arrival, your private guide will escort you to your hotel as you enjoy the drive through the Green Mountains, the cattle fields, the occasional dense forest, and the coffee plantations. Check into your accommodation with the view of the looming volcano that looks incredible from a distance. Later, visit the charming central park, and venture out to explore the shops and streets surrounding the area. Check in to your hotel for dinner.
Day 2: Arenal National Park - Hiking Day
Visit the La Fortuna waterfall. Then, hop on a three-hour drive to the Arenal National Park to hike the beautiful trails, including the famous Los Heliconias trail, where youll get the perfect view of Lake Arenal and the volcano. In the evening, visit the nearby hot springs and relax in the warm waters. Head back to La Fortuna, and explore souvenir shops downtown. Have a lavish dinner at a premium restaurant before returning to your accommodation.
Day 3: La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio
Hop on an hours flight from La Fortuna to Quepos. Then, Head to the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific Coast. Enjoy a Zip-lining adventure and spend the day hiking through the park and exploring its beautiful beaches. Keep an eye out for some of the park's resident wildlife, such as monkeys and sloths. Day 4: Explore wildlife at Tortuguero National Park
Take a 30-minute flight to Tortuguero. Then visit the Tortuguero National Park, known for its vast network of canals and abundance of wildlife. Day 6: Return to San Jose
