Arrive in San Jose, and get a private transfer to a luxury hotel in the highlands of San Ramon. Spend the day exploring the charming streets of San Ramon and getting settled in.
Day 2: Another Day in San Ramon
Visit the Los Angeles Biological Reserve Visitor Center to learn more about the reserve's history, wildlife, and conservation efforts. The Visitor Center also offers interactive exhibits and educational programs for visitors of all ages. After the Visitor Center, take a guided tour of the reserve to see some of the more remote and lesser-known areas of the reserve. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the reserve's diverse plant and animal life from a knowledgeable guide. Finish the day with a sunset walk along the reserve's trails. Watch for wildlife such as rabbits, coyotes, and deer as the sun sets.
Day 3: Heading to Quepos
After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to the quiet pleasures of your resort in Quepos (a two-hour and forty-minute drive), a bustling coastal town known for its beautiful beaches and rich history. Spend the day exploring the town and its surroundings, including the Manuel Antonio National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna. Have a lavish dinner before checking into a luxury hotel for dinner.
Day 4: Adventure in Quepos
Go rafting or kayaking on the Savegre River, known for its clear, crystal-blue waters and stunning scenery. Then, head to the Quepos Fish Market, where you can try some delicious local seafood. Finish your day with a sunset horseback ride through the beautiful countryside, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Have dinner at a premium restaurant before heading back to your hotel.
Day 5: A Day tour of Manuel Antonio
After breakfast, get ready to explore the thrills and wonders of Costa Ricas stunning biodiversity. Before you get transferred to the unique coastal wilds of Manuel Antonio National Park, visit a small farm recreating the traditional experience of Costa Rican farmers. Your guide will lead you around the grounds to illustrate how the farmer collects eggs, harvests tubers, and milks the cow to make cheese. After lunch, your guide will escort you to the lavish grounds of Si Como No, situated along the idyllic hillside overlooking Manuel Antonio, with terraces hidden inside the lucid jungle gardens and blend views of the effervescent Pacific Ocean and emerald forest. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 6: Visiting Drake Bay
Depart from Quepos on a three-hour and forty-minute drive to the charming village of Drake Bay, located on the Osa Peninsula. Spend the day exploring the beautiful surroundings of Drake Bay, including the nearby Corcovado National Park, home to an abundance of exotic plants and animals. Take a guided tour of the park, hiking through the rainforest and spotting wildlife along the way. Take a boat tour to see dolphins and whales, visit a local coffee plantation, and spend the evening on one of the beautiful beaches. Return to Drake Bay for dinner and a good night's rest.
Day 7: Fly back home
After breakfast, youll be escorted to Palmar Sur Airport for your flight back to San Jose for your connecting flight back home.
