Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Find RIO’s landmarks. Join a full day private tour alongside a private vehicle, professional driver and English-speaking tour guide to explore Corcovado and Sugarloaf. You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning to start with a panoramic tour of the Rio beaches, including Copacabana and Ipanema, and the popular Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon as you proceed to the Cosme Velho district. Enjoy riding in a cog-wheel train and travel through the Tijuca rainforest up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. Proceed through the city to view the Metropolitan Cathedral and the popular Cinelandia Square. Enjoy your lunch at Fogo de Chao. After lunch, proceed towards the Urca neighborhood, to explore one of Rio's most iconic spot, Sugar Loaf Mountain. Day 4: Foz Do Iguacu
Your personal driver and guide will meet you for an airport transfer in Rio de Janeiro. For your convenience, an English-speaking guide will meet you at Foz do Iguaçu/Cataratas International Airport. Your guide will accompany you to your hotel and assist in check in. You can’t miss this opportunity to solely encounter some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the World! You will travel 2 km along the rainforest, up to the Iguazu River coast. From there, board a boat and sail 5 km up the River on the semi-rigid boat, striving through the rapids, viewing from the river-bed the majesty of water falling from the various waterfalls and then, get ready your way back. Your guides will be expert enough to answer all your concerns. You will get quite wet. So it is advisable to wear a raincoat
Day 5: Manaus
Welcome to MANAUS. For your convenience, a professional driver and an English speaking guide will transfer you from the airport to your hotel.
Day 6: Archipelago das Anavilhanas
Start your day exploring the Amazon. We will provide you a shared transfer to the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge. The transfer needs approximately 3.5 hours of travel. Welcome to the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge in the center of the Brazilian Amazon! You can expect a great variety of activities planned by the lodge during your stay. A picture of what you may endure: night-loving wildlife-spotting trips by motorized canoe in search of caimans, sloths, snakes and more, an exploration trip of the various channels, lakes, and islands of the Anavilhanas Archipelago. You will join an educational jungle hike through the mainland woods. Visit a region hit by Amazonian dolphins. Enjoy leisurely piranha fishing, canoeing the Rio Negro, and exploring a local village in Tiririca. Take the tour as a group with an expert guide and enjoy the outstanding feeling of the nightlife inside the forest, illuminated by the stars, exploring the igapos to spot sloths, birds, alligators, and snakes hidden in the sounds of darkness.
Day 7: Archipelago das Anavilhanas
Go for a canoe trip on the Rio Negro to meet a local caboclo community. Learn about their lifestyle, customs, agriculture and social system. Aanavilhanas Lodge is circled by a large extension of fresh tropical rainforest and in front of a preserved national park located across the river. The Anavilhanas Archipelago offers an outstanding ecosystem with lush landscapes, various endemic species, and a strange island formation. By water or by land, it is impossible not to be surprised by the wonders that treat your eyes at every moment. Today is for exploration of the rivers and listening to the sounds of the forest. The canoes are for up to 2 people, you can view the scenery changing as you navigate along waters and between trees. Led by expert local guides, explore areas that are not affected by floods – the firm forests or dryland forests. During the tour, learn from your guide about trees, fruits and wild fruits, survival tactics and medicinal herbs.
Day 8: Archipelago das Anavilhanas
Join a group tour to visit a floating deck where interested Pink River Dolphins come close searching for food. These freshwater dolphins have unique features from other ocean-dwelling dolphins, such as a long break with up to 34 teeth on each side of their jaws, and a light gray to carnation pink coloration. Enjoy the marvelous scenery and catch some fish on an impressive recreational piranha fishing tour today, done in wooden canoes along the igarapes. Known for their amazingly sharp teeth and strong jaws, piranhas are only found in South American rivers.
Day 9: Archipelago das Anavilhanas
Leaving in the morning, your guide will take you to the islands to view the birds flying and the excellence of all the colors when the sun rises in the Amazon sky. A group transfer is provided by Anavilhanas Lodge to reach you to the airport in Manaus. The transfer takes approximately 3.5 hours of travel. Start your day with a private city tour in the company of an English speaking Guide and driver in a private vehicle. This tour will give you a taste of the Manaus rubber boom days, as well as of the growing metropolis that has turned it such a coveted tourist destination today. Your tour in Manas includes the Indian Museum, displaying artifacts produced by tribes of the Upper Negro River; a regional handicraft exhibition with some items on sale; the Opera House, originated on 1896, and with no doubt one of the most famous tourist points of Manaus. Symbol of the Rubber Boom, all of its richness and glory of that time are still carried through its corridors, halls with works of art and the downtown with its floating harbor, which adapts to the river's ever-changing levels; and the Art Nouveau cast-iron, turn-of-the-century Municipal Market where all imaginable regional goods are sold.
