Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Rio Day Tour / Christ the Redeemer and Maracana

Spend a full day exploring the sights of Rio de Janeiro. Your guide will drive you to the Christ the Redeemer Statue atop Corcovado Mountain. You will enjoy the short and pictorial ride through the Tijuca forest before the scenic city views emerge.
Once back to sea level, drive past the magnificent Maracana soccer stadium and continue to Sambodromo, the location of Rio's famous Carnaval. Stop by the Metropolitan Cathedral and the vibrant Selaron Steps before settling back into your luxurious hotel.

Day 2: Rio Day Tour / Sugar Loaf and Selaron

Pay a visit to the unique Metropolitan Cathedral, a modern house that takes influence from Mayan pyramids. Check out the brilliantly colored tiles of the world-famous Selaron Steps, one of Rio's most unique landmarks. Then head to a local steakhouse for a delicious barbecue lunch.
After lunch, make a final journey to Sugarloaf Mountain, established in the Urca neighborhood. You will ride the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain. Board 2 cable cars en route to the summit, the first landing at Urca Hill and the second proceeding to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395 m). End the tour with an exquisite panorama of Rio de Janeiro.

Day 3: Iguazu Falls from Rio de Janeiro

Your private guide will help you board a morning flight to Foz de Iguazu. As you land, follow your guide to the meeting point and begin your venture through Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. Discover the falls, formed with 275 cascades. Have a great time reveling in the cascades and observing the rich biodiversity of this region. Iguazu Falls are considered one of the new seven wonders of nature. The park, a Natural Heritage since 1986, has gained significant recognition for its main attraction.

Day 4: Explore Iguazu Falls

Learn from your guide about the main features of the waterfalls. The picturesque views from the footbridges and the viewpoints make an incredible tour. After the guided tour, you are free to explore and click pictures, after which you eat a delicious lunch. This evening, take a return flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 5: Santa Teresa Discovery Tour

Meet your guide at the Copacabana Palace Hotel and follow them on the subway to Santa Teresa the way the locals do. Walk through Carioca Square, one of Rio's major drinking water sources, then visit the financial district on foot with a charming commentary from your guide. Ride up the hill where Santa Teresa is located.

Explore this neighborhood, one of Rio's best and most ancient regions, lined with cobblestone streets and impressive buildings. Learn about the areas history and culture from your guide as you weave through the narrow lanes and alleyways. Cherish the 18th- and 19th-century buildings that once housed the citys elite but are now home to art galleries, restaurants, and bars.

The neighborhood on the hill contributes excellent views. Visit Parque das Ruinas (Ruins Park) for outstanding photo opportunities of downtown and Guanabara Bay. Get past the neighborhood convent, and then check out Selarons Staircase (Escadaria Selaron), a set of 250 steps embraced in tiles from around the world. They were built in the 1990s by artist Jorge Selaron. After an appealing 4-hour tour, return to your Rio hotel.

Day 6: Speed Boat Tour in Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande

Ilha Grande, with its spectacular tropical forest and crystal waters, is a paradisiacal stop! Commence a 3-hour journey with your guide from Rio to Angra, where you board a speedboat. The boat will stop by 5-6 prominent stops. The stops may vary as per the climate, sea conditions, and the number of people on site. Lay eyes on the exciting vistas of the island, like the blue lagoon, Botinas Islands, Japariz beach, Cataguases Islands, and Green Lagoon, Saco do Ceu.

Cruising via speedboat ensures an excellent personal experience of a good dive, photo clicking, relaxation, and avoiding the interference of big boats. Savor a delicious meal on one of the beautiful beaches. Sail away from the ravishing islands to Rio de Janeiro. You will return to your hotel for the nights sleep.
