Jimbaran is a conventional seaside town in Bali and you will discover golden sands that lead to limestone cliffs. The town is a surf spot with a selection of beaches dispersed around the area, though it is undoubtedly famous for its seafood restaurants.
This morning, enjoy your first day fully on the island relaxing and exploring the local area. Visit the center of Ubud and the popular monkey forest.

This tour takes you away from Ubud's crowded tourist areas so as to offer you an authentic insight and experience. During the tour, you will have the chance to connect with local people who live and work here.
Spiritual healing practices are a huge part of Balinese life. In Ubud, medieval traditional practices co-exist with the modern ones. Today, you will have a guided tour to places that will give you a captivating insight into these Balinese customs. In the evening, experience a traditional Balinese Kecak dance performance accompanied by your guide. According to an ancient Hindu story, this traditional dance performance is a spectacle to behold as actors decked in traditional costumes re-narrate the story while a chorus of men chants and sway around them.
Today, you get to enjoy one of the many activities that are on offer in Ubud. Visit the local monkey forest, one of the area's many characterful temples and take a cycling tour or enjoy a private yoga class in a quiet setting overlooking a river.
This morning, you will leave Ubud and traverse to a small eco-resort located on the outskirts of a traditional Balinese village. Away from the crowds, this place offers an authentic insight into Balinese life in the countryside.
About 1 hour from your hotel lies one of the country's most spectacular volcanoes, Mount Batur. The active volcano has a breathtaking setting within a vast ancient caldera next to a lake and hot springs. Numerous craters over time have formed on the volcano. If you wish, you can trek to one of the lower craters which offer sweeping views of the caldera and at times radiates steam and gases from tiny vents in the crater wall. As the sun sets, you will get to enjoy eggs that are being cooked in the soil beneath you before you return back to your hotel.
Today you will be transferred to the peaceful highlands village of Munduk, an area situated off the main tourist trail famous for its views, walking trails and waterfalls. On your way to Munduk, you will stop for a cycle ride through the terraces of rice-fields at Jatiluwih which have been conserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will get to visit one of Bali's most iconic temples, Pura Bratan once featured on one of the Indonesian Rupiah notes.
If you are an adventure lover, then today is yours. Have a unique experience of the surrounding scenery by exploring the area in an off-road dirt buggy!
