Day 1 - Buenos Aires City

On your arrival at Buenos Aires international airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon, explore the exciting and charming city of Buenos Aires! This trip includes a bilingual tour guide and visits to typical neighborhoods like La Boca, Palermo, Recoleta, and the Colon Theater, the National Congress and the Presidential Palace. Explore the highlights of Buenos Aires, and enjoy this great city. This is an excellent introduction to the main sites of interest that you can visit with free time throughout the rest of the tour.

Day 2 - Tigre Delta and Tango

Located at the north of Buenos Aires, the island city of Tigre is a region, tourist should not miss to get out of the city center and enjoy the countryside. A peaceful riverside train ride takes you into Tigre. Explore the famous fruit market. Rustic weaves, cane and willow furniture, sugary sweets, exotic flowers and, of course, large varieties of native fruit charm you as you wander through this bustling market. A guided ferry tour of the wonderful delta ends this five-hour journey. Sail along the delta, spotting some of the uncountable channels and forest-covered islands, yacht clubs, and weekend homes in the Parana River delta. Alternate excursions on this day are also available.
It is difficult to imagine a visit to Buenos Aires without visiting a tango show, so tonight your guide meets you at your hotel and drives you away to one of the city’s most popular events! At Esquina Carlos Gardel, experience the intimate dance that unites the city and its people together in a warm embrace. The tango displays the heart and the spirit of Argentina. You also enjoy dinner and a drink, before your guide drives you back to your hotel.

Day 3 - Meet Mendoza

Enjoy a free morning before your guide transfer you to the airport for your flight on to Mendoza, Argentina's wine region that produces nearly 70% of the country's wine. Rich and elegant, the Central Andes dominate the horizon and provide this region with an exceptional landscape. Your guide greets you at the airport to take you on a journey of the city including the original city foundations at Plaza Pedro del Castillo. Explore its bustling central plazas and celebrated General San Martin Park. After the trip, check-in to your hotel and visit Mendoza's outdoor cafes that are ideal for dinner or sipping wine as the sun sets over the city. Relax at your cozy accommodation.

Day 4 - Cooking Class and Wine Tasting

Today you discover the secrets of Argentine cuisine! After breakfast, your guide picks you up from the hotel for a morning wine tasting trip of one of Mendoza's pristine vineyards. Next, you are joined by an expert Argentine chef who shares secrets about the fine science and art of pairing a glass of excellent wine with a great meal. This is an elite cooking class where you can learn not only how to make a traditional Mendocino dish, but also the local histories and traditions that go behind Argentine cuisine. After a delicious lunch, spend time enjoying a tasting at this winery. You quickly come to cherish the detailed process that goes into making each wine excellent and unique.

Day 5 - Free Day in Mendoza

Today is a leisure day to cherish the natural beauty of the Mendoza region. Enjoy the day relaxing with a glass of wine. Or you have optional trips that can be organized locally, depending on your choices.
Travelers can pick to travel the countryside on horseback or take a moderate trek to Quebrada del Salto waterfalls. The horseback riding tour takes about 2 hours around Potrerillos and Cacheuta. This horseback riding trip is planned for beginners. For those like to explore the countryside on foot instead, enjoy a 3-hour trekking tour that ventures the mountainous, canyon-filled landscape of Quebrada (Gulch) del Salta. At the gulch's waterfalls, trekkers have the opportunity of taking an 18-meter rappel. In the late afternoon, return to Mendoza city and explore the city at your own.
Another option is to continue to explore the wineries of the Mendoza valley with a visit to Lujan de Cuyo, one of the most famous wine regions in Argentina. The morning starts with visiting the vineyards and tasting the wine at Tapiz Bodega. Next, travel a short 15 minutes southwest of Mendoza to Achaval Ferrer winery to taste the unique wines of this exclusive vineyard. Finish the trip at Ruca Malen winery and enjoy your lunch in the shadow of Los Andes mountain range.

Day 6 - Fly to Bariloche / Estancia Peuma Hue

Enjoy a free morning before your guide transfer you to the airport for your flight on to Bariloche. Your guide meets you at the Bariloche airport and transfers you to the nearby Estancia Peuma Hue, or "Place of dreams", your new accommodation for the next 4 nights. Here you can enjoy a wonderful lakeside setting, warm welcoming hosts, and the ideal environment to relax in and experience a grand new years eve party. Depending on your arrival, settle in and go for a mild horseback ride to familiarize yourself with the area and a welcome message.

Day 7 to 9 - Patagonia Exploration

Enjoy a leisure day to choose your own trip. Various hiking options are available to nearby waterfalls, lakes, and valleys with charming views of the surrounding mountains. You may choose to arrange for trips to nearby Villa La Angostura, San Martin de Los Andes, El Bolson, or Lake Nahuel Huapi as you prefer. Arrange to ski at Cerro Catedral during the winter seasons as well. In the afternoon we will arrange a grand new years eve party by the lakeside, where along with other fun activities you can experience some Argentina cuisine presentations with the local chef, or arrange for another message for some additional pampering.

Day 10 - Return to Buenos Aires

Today, the morning is at your leisure to soak in the last day you have in the Lakes District! If you please, you have the opportunity to add an Argentine cooking class with a local chef or you can arrange a tour to the nearby Villa La Angostura. This is a tiny mountain village on the northern shore Lake of Nahuel Huapi. In the afternoon return to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires.
