Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tirana Albania

This is the first day of your trip to the Balkans! Being in Tirana will make you feel as if you are in an Old continent even on your European tour. The locals in this city are very friendly and they will help you with anything and everything you will need on your trip.

You just need to note before planning your trip to Tirana Albania, that the locals do not speak English here. And, that is why before booking your trip here, you will need to learn some sign language.

This is the first day of your Trip to the Balkan, and you are going to land in Tirana, Albania. Today you will be just relaxing and wandering around your hotel room interacting with the locals.

 

Day 2: Tirana Albania

This day, you will be trying out some tasty food of Albania! You will get to try out new things here. And, it’s wonderful to see some really incredibly built piece of infrastructure. But, there isn’t any bus station, train station or no McDonalds. You will get yo know here that, it's the only place where there are no famous Golden Arches. This will make you feel as if you are in some exotic location.

You will get to find a few buses at the back of the shopping mall that will be going to Montenegro. The trip is going to be an interesting one!

 

Day 3: Montenegro - Budva

This is the third day of your trip to the Balkans! Today, you will be stopping at Montenegro. The First stop of your trip to Montenegro is Budva where you will get to see many popular Sveti Stefan. This place will let you click a variety of “Instagram-friendly” pictures. You definitely get the most interesting comments on these pictures.

You can get to rent a car at Budva, that will help you explore the best of this land of Balkans. You will be moving away from the beaches and moving towards the Mountains. After Budva, you will be moving towards Kotor which is one of the best places to see in Montenegro.

 

Day 4: Kotor

One complete day here on your trip to Balkans is the perfect thing. The best places to visit in Kotor are Kotor Bay and the fortress. Climbing up through the stairs will get you to enjoy the best view of the city. It’s completely worth giving your time to this place in the Balkans.

From Kotor itself, you will be taking a day trip to the town called Perast. It will take just 10 minutes to reach Perast. Here, you will get to eat some delicious food at a very cheap rate. And, from here, you will get to see the perfect view of the city. You can get to find here people whom you can pay to take you by boat. It’s highly recommended to take your camera along!

 

Day 5: Durmitor National Park: The deepest canyon in Europe

After this, you will be getting a little deeper into the country! You will not be able to resist visiting the country. With this trip to the Balkans, you will be visiting one of the best places to visit in Montenegro. And, it’s the Durmitor National Park!

For visiting this place, you will need to gather some patience as you will have to travel a 400-meter long road with lots of turns. But, enjoy this, it’s going to be real entertainment. This trip to Montenegro will take you through plenty of Mountains. And, traveling through the Piva River up to the Bosnian frontier is going to be the most interesting part of the trip. And, going through the national park is going to be really fun.

Yo will be visiting 18 tunnels which are made of rocks! These tunnels look more like caves. And, if you are more interested in adventurous activities this place is the perfect place for you. You can enjoy rafting and other adventurous activities here. And, in addition to that just driving along these roads is a kind of adventurous activities.

 

Day 6: Bosnia

The next stop of your trip to the Balkans will be Bosnia. You will be crossing through the deep forest. On the way, you will be stopping by Scepan Polje which is one of the extraordinarily dangerous crossing borders in Europe. You need to be a little more careful if you are taking this route.

 

Day 7: The Republic of Srpska

On the seventh day of your trip to the Balkans. Bosnia is the country which is not only politically divided but also religiously and territorially divided. Bosnia has suffered from one of the cruelest wars in Europe from 1992 to 1995. And, this war happened due to the creation of the Republic of Srpska.

 

Day 8: Sarajevo

Sarajevo is going to be one location that you will be visiting on your trip to the Balkans. You will get to see here the most picturesque landscapes. And, you will also see some aftermath of the wars. Sarajevo is one of the most spectacularly built cities! It’s going to be one of the highlights through your trip to the Balkans.
