Arrival is likely to be at one of the three closest airports: Tivat, Podgorica or Dubrovnik (Croatia).

Day 2: Cetinje

Today morning start walking tour from your hotel down the Lovcen slopes towards Cetinje. The focus of the day is Cetinje, the beautiful old town which was the Capital of Montenegro from the 15th century until 1918. This city is renowned as the Old Capital or the ‘Museum Town of Montenegro.’ This is the ideal place to learn all about the turbulent Montenegrin history and getting familiar with its culture. In the late afternoon, a prearranged transfer car will drive you back to the hotel in Ivanova Korita (25 min).

Day 3: Jezerski Summit

A circular walk from your hotel to the Jezerski Vrh summit (1,657m); ‘Njegos tomb’ is located at its top. After visiting the tomb take some rest and have time for lunch in a pleasant restaurant nearby. Views from the top are just wonderful and give you an opportunity to admire all the summits of Montenegro, Skadar lake, (the biggest lake in the Balkans) with the Albanian Alps in the background along with Cetinje, the Adriatic coast and Boka Kotorska Bay.

Day 4: Kotor Bay / Perast

You reach to Boka Kotorska Bay and the old town of Kotor by walking down from Lovcen. You are free to pick between two similar walks (the same route but different distances) for this part of the itinerary. Either choice will offer stunning views of the Boka Kotorska Bay and the surrounding mountains. After exploring the old town of Kotor for some time, you will then get a transfer to Perast which will take a 20 min ride on the local bus.

Day 5: Boating to Our Lady of the Rocks / Vrmac

Today we will enjoy a boat trip to the artificial island across Perast. Arrive at “Our Lady of Rocks” and explore the church and its museum. Travel by a private boat to the village of Donji Stoliv where you begin the day’s hike, passing through a deep chestnut forest to the abandoned village of Gornji Stoliv with wonderful views to Perast and the Bay. You will then proceed to the ridges of Vrmac peninsula towards Kotor’s old town. After taking some rest in Kotor, you will transfer back to Perast which will take a 20 min ride on the local bus.

Today we will start with a pictorial drive for 40min to the starting point in the remote area of Crkvice, at an altitude 1,100m above the Bay. Hiking by an old military mule track dating back to the 19th century. The path crosses through an area of outstanding land formations and offers magnificent views of Boka Kotorska Bay. You can go for an optional climb to the Velji Vrh summit (1,281m). Ruined fortresses along the way are evidence to the one-century long presence of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Hiking ends in a local restaurant where after dinner your driver will pick you up for the trip back to Perast.

Day 7: Vranovo Brdo and Fortresses

Today we will start with a spectacular drive for 30 min to the starting point in Donje Ledenice. This hike begins almost from the same place where you ended yesterday’s trail. From this trail, you are treated to some wonderful views of the Bay. It passes through the old and abandoned village of Ubalac, (only one person is remaining there today) following an old military Austro-Hungarian mule trail. The highlight of the hike is Sveti Andrija, an abandoned fortress which highlights the most magnificent view of the Bay. After taking some rest at the fortress, you will descend directly to Perast, following the narrow footpath along the slopes of Vranovo Brdo summit.
