Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

On arrival at the airport, meet your private guide, who will whisk you to your hotel in downtown Bangkok. Today, you have the rest of the day to rest, refresh, or explore the city at your leisure.

Day 2: Guided Bangkok City Tour

Start by visiting the iconic Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, which showcases stunning architecture and intricate stonework. From there, head to the famous Wat Phra Kaew, the most revered temple in Thailand and home to the Emerald Buddha. Next, hop on a long-tail boat and navigate the city's network of canals, known as "khlongs," to witness daily life along the waterways. Stop by one of the local floating markets to indulge in delicious Thai street food and pick up souvenirs. In the evening, experience the vibrant nightlife of Bangkok by visiting the famous Patpong Night Market. Browse through the stalls, sample delicious street food, and enjoy the bustling energy of this iconic market. End the day with a visit to the Wat Saket Temple, also known as the Golden Mountain Temple, for breathtaking views of the city from the top of the hill.

Day 3: Heading to Chiang Mai

After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to charming Chiang Mai. Check into your hotel, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon lunch. Then, take a journey to the ancient city of Wiang Kum Kam, a former capital of the Lanna kingdom, to see the well-preserved ruins of temples and traditional homes. Immerse yourself in the  Thai culture at the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, where you can browse through handmade crafts, clothing, and jewelry. As the day ends, treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage at one of the city's many spas and then return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 4: Trekking in Doi Pui National Park

Today, you'll be picked up early for a forty-minute drive in the morning and head to the Doi Suthep-Doi Pui National Park. Trek along the lush green forest area, stopping at the beautiful Mork Fa waterfall for a refreshing swim before a traditional Thai lunch. After the hike, you'll reach a simple wooden hut at the edge of a traditional Karen village. Spend the evening enjoying a traditional village dinner, visit the town and experience the evening scene of the surrounding mountains, and listen to the sounds of the jungle.

Day 5: Bamboo Rafting and Elephant Camp

After breakfast, say goodbye to the Karen village and trek back through the park to the start point of the next adventure: bamboo rafting. Raft along the Mae Tang river for 2 hours towards a Shan village, and after lunch, walk along a scenic hanging wooden bridge. Drive to an ethical elephant camp, where you'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent animals. Feed and exercise with them, and leave the rainforest with unforgettable memories. Drive back to Chiang Mai in the evening. 

Day 6: Sunset Dinner Cruise in Bangkok

After departing Chiang Mai, you'll fly back to Bangkok and check in at your hotel. In the evening, transfer to a river pier for a sunset dinner cruise, where you'll see Bangkok's skyline transform as the sun sets and the lights come on. Have a lavish dinner on the luxury cruise before returning to your hotel.

Day 7: Cultural Village Experience

After breakfast, set out to explore rural Thailand's traditional way of life by visiting the Baan Lao Cultural Village. You'll get to witness demonstrations of traditional Thai handicrafts, such as pottery, weaving, and basketry. You'll also be able to sample local Thai cuisine and watch traditional Thai dances and music performances. Then, marvel at the unique and beautiful sculptures, architecture, and art at the Erawan Museum. This grand museum is dedicated to Thai culture, religion, and tradition and houses many precious artifacts and antiques. In the evening, take a stroll at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Get ready for an unforgettable shopping experience at the largest outdoor market in the world. From clothing, accessories, and souvenirs to local Thai food, you'll find it all here. Return to your hotel for dinner. 

Day 8: Day in Elephant Sanctuary & Bangkok Adventure

Start the day with a visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you'll have the opportunity to learn about and interact with these gentle giants. Get up close and personal as you feed them and observe their playful behavior. After spending some time with the elephants, continue your adventure with a visit to Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace, two of the most iconic and historical attractions in Bangkok. Admire the intricate architecture and learn about the rich history of Thailand's monarchy. Next, take a scenic boat ride along the famous Chao Phraya River to the bustling street markets of Bangkok, such as the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

Stroll through the bustling stalls, sample delicious street food, and haggle with vendors for unique souvenirs. In the evening, experience the vibrant nightlife of Bangkok with a visit to a traditional Thai cabaret show. Watch as talented performers showcase the country's cultural heritage through dance, music, and costume. End the day with a delicious Thai dinner in one of Bangkok's top restaurants before returning to your hotel for a good night's rest.
