Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, meet your private guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. Later, visit the famous Lotus temple, an epitome of the Bahai culture, then head to "Delhi Haat for some shopping." In the evening, stroll around the local markets, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city and sampling some of the delicious Indian street food on offer.

Day 2: Delhi to Ranthambore

Rise and shine as you take an early morning flight to Jaipur; your private guide will meet you and drive you to Ranthambore (a four-hour drive), where your safari adventure begins. After checking into your hotel and enjoying lunch, you set off on an afternoon safari in the Ranthambore National Park. The park is known for its dry deciduous forest and is home to various animals, including the Bengal tiger, leopard, nilgai, wild boar, and dhole. The safari will take you through the rugged terrain in open-top jeeps, providing a thrilling experience as you navigate the park in search of the elusive big cats. Stay in the Ranthambore national park lodge and indulge in a luxurious dinner. 

Day 3: Ranthambore Safari and Exploring Its Heritage

Start your day early with a morning safari in the park to catch the tigers in their most active hours and with a different route, experiencing the thrill amidst the depth of the beautiful forest. After lunch, explore Ranthambores rich cultural heritage, visiting the Ranthambore Fort, a formidable fortress dating back to the 10th century, and the Jogi Mahal, an ancient palace with breathtaking views of the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest. 

Day 4: Kota - A Crocodile Adventure

After breakfast, get a private transfer to Kota (a four-hour drive) and check into your hotel. Afternoon safari in Kota, where you will see crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species. The Chambal river in Kota is home to a significant population of the Gharial crocodiles and the Indian Skimmer, a critically endangered bird species. The safari will be on a boat, navigating the Chambal river, providing a unique perspective of the crocodiles and the birds in their natural habitat. Return to your hotel for dinner.  

Day 5: Bundi - A Sloth Bear Safari

After breakfast, hop on a private one-hour drive to Bundi and check into your hotel. Go on a four-hour afternoon safari, where you can spot leopards, sloth bears, and other wildlife. The safari will take you through the rugged terrain of the Aravalli hills, providing a chance to spot the elusive sloth bears in their natural habitat. The safari also includes a trekking experience, providing a more intimate experience with nature, allowing you to hear the birds singing and the animals rustling in the bushes. Have a picnic lunch amidst nature. You will return to your cozy hotel and enjoy tea and dinner in the evening. 

Day 6: Sight-seeing in Jaipur

Begin your day in Jaipur with a visit to the iconic Amber Fort, located on the city's outskirts; explore the fort's intricate architecture and learn about its rich history. Next, head to the City Palace, the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Take a guided tour of the palace and marvel at the blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. After a traditional Rajasthani lunch, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the ancient astronomical instruments used by the Maharaja to study the stars. Take a stroll around the vibrant bazaars of Jaipur and shop for local handicrafts and textiles of India. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to your hotel.

Day 7: Return to Delhi

After breakfast, drive back to Jaipur ( a three-hour drive) and catch a flight to Delhi. Check into your hotel. Enjoy an Ayurvedic Spa session followed by a delicious lunch.  Spend the rest of the day leisurely exploring the nearby markets and relishing some of the best street food.

Day 8: Exploring Delhi- A City of Monuments

After breakfast, Set off to explore the city's famous monuments, such as the Red Fort, a 17th-century fort complex, and Qutub Minar, a 73-meter-tall tower and the tallest brick minaret in the world. Then, head to Chandni chowk, one of the biggest markets in Asia, well-known for spices. Enjoy a Mughlai dinner at the old Delhi and return to the hotel. 

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, its time to bid farewell to India. Your private guide will transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Happy Journey!
