The tour will start by visiting Victoria Falls. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the planet, Victoria Falls is a famous marvel to visit in the continent, and with good purpose. The absolute captivating nature of the Falls just has to be viewed and listened, to be realized.
The next attraction is Lower Zambezi National Park the newest of all the Zambian parks. It’s the paradise for bird watchers and those who love to play in the water. Since it’s downstream from Victoria Falls, you can spend your time enjoying water and bird life.
From Lower Zambezi National Park we will head to South Luangwa National Park the enormous and rich wilderness, abounding with wildlife and distinct landscapes. From deep forests and high mountains to extended open fields, this place is the ideal environment for a bush break, to escape those urban life stress. The life-giving river is home to the biggest gathering of crocodile and hippopotamus and is the excellent place to see predators, it has even been named ‘The Valley of the Leopard’.
Our private tours typically range from $500 - $1000 per person/per night depending on chosen hotels and room categories, vehicles used, types of tours, flight cost, time of year and other factors. Make an inquiry for a customized trip quote.
We will greet you at the Livingstone airport and transfer to you your lodge on the bank of the Zambezi river. We suggest you select a flight to Livingstone airport instead of Victoria Falls airport in Zimbabwe to avoid wastage of time for Zimbabwe visas. Its a half an hour drive from the airport which will allow you spectacular views on your way to the lodge. This day is at your leisure and you can visit Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park as you are staying within its border.
The next day we will take you for a guided tour to Victoria Falls. There is a large range of activities for all vacationers visiting Victoria Falls. It’s not always enough to just enjoy the scenery, you have to involve yourself in it. If you like adventure and thrill, get ready for most adventurous whitewater rafting. It is a truly exhilarating and ridiculously fun activity. Once you have plaid enough with water come back to your lodge followed by a delicious dinner and adequate sleep which you need for the next morning drive to Lower Zambezi National Park
Day 3 to 4 - Lower Zambezi National Park
Today have an early breakfast and start for Lower Zambezi National Park. It’s a six-hour drive but you will come out of all tiredness once you reach this nature’s paradise. Take rest and enjoy the beauty of nature through your lodge window.
Canoeing, boating, and fishing are all unbelievable activities to experience for the next two days. An unimaginable experience in the Lower Zambezi is a bushwalk in the dawn and canoeing in the dusk. Compared to Victoria Falls, the wildlife here is plentiful but the true radiant gem is the birding, entertaining rare, and excellent birdlife.
Day 5 to 6 - South Luangwa National Park
This morning we will drive you to Livingstone Airport for a light aircraft to Mfuwe. Enjoy the beauty of Katete river during the 1-hour drive from Mfuwe airport to your lodge at Norman Carr.
Norman Carr is the place, where the walking safari arose. It’s an activity that allows an excellent bush experience, where safari-goers often come face to face with wildlife on foot.
Day 7 - Departure
This is your final day of Christmas vacation and we will drive you to Mfuwe airport for your aircraft to Livingstone airport. From there you can take your home flight or can extend your Christmas vacation in other African countries.
