Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and city tour

You will arrive at the international airport of Entebbe. A private guide will meet you at the exit doors and will escort you to one of the luxurious hotels of Entebbe. Depending on the arrival time, you will get time to visit in and around the beautiful Kampala city. The views will be serene and the landscape will be all-natural. Your first day in Uganda is going to be full of excitement and surprises. Explore the bustling streets and famous corners without draining much of your energy as you will be needing it for the upcoming Uganda Safri adventure you are going to experience the next day. Return back hotel before the dark to enjoy scrumptious meals and luscious drinks awaiting at the dinner table. And, that’s all you will need to do to call it a day

Day 2-3:  Murchison Falls

Wake up early in the morning as you will be on an early morning drive to the stunning Murchison Falls. A personal guide will pick you for a drive which is north to Kampala. En-route, you will go for a guided rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Murchison Falls is a beautiful place to spend time in. However, when it comes to the wildlife, there are a few animals you will find missing from this incredible park and the endangered black and white rhinos are among them. To fill the gap, you will stop at Ziwa sanctuary to meet the animals who no more exist in the Murchison Falls National Park.

After a short game drive in the sanctuary, you will continue the journey and will reach the park in the late evening. You stay will be arranged in a nearby lodge or camp( as per your preferences).

In the morning, wake up at your comfort as there is no hurry to rush and drive for long hours. You are at a few Kms distance from the park and have almost a full day to explore the wildlife of the park. Get done with the breakfast and call your guide when ready to leave. He will take you to the park for a walking safari. An experienced ranger will take you to the hidden routes that are mostly visited by animals like elephants, lions, chimpanzees, hippos, and buffalos. You might visit some or all depending on the time of the day. Enjoy this full-day guided tour on the third day of Uganda Safari adventure and drive back to the lodge before dark.

Day 4: Kibale National Park

Get ready for an hours-long journey as you will be driving to another famous park in Uganda - the Kibale National Park. Wake up early in the morning and pack your bag to leave Murchison in before 9 A.M. The drive is going to be 7-8 hours long and the idea is to reach Kibale by the evening. With en-route lunch and a series of scenic moments on the way, you will reach your pre-booked hotel in Kibale on time. Relax for the day and enjoy the exotic delicacies of Kibale during dinner time.

Day 5: Kibale National Park

Wake up early in the morning and reach the head office of the park for a small briefing about the trekking. At Kibale, resides the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees. You will find more chimpanzees that you can count swaying on the branches of years old trees of the park. By the time you get free with the briefing at the head office, an experienced ranger will join you who will your guide on the trek. He will take you chimp tracking and help you locate the chimpanzees as soon as possible. While expecting for an eye-to-eye contact with the chimps is what your mind and heart must be carrying for long but considering the wild and the unexpected nature of the chimps, we wouldn’t recommend you to look directly in their eyes. This means you might have to settle down with their hoots and hollers.

After lunch, you will go for a swam walk under the guidance of the same ranger. The walk will be of 2-3 hours and will take you through grassland, small communities and some beautiful sceneries of the park. You will return to the lodge before dark for dinner.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After visiting the top-attractions of Kibale National Park, you will pack your bags and leave for the next destination which is Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take a whole day which means you will be reaching the hotel in the night. The breakfast will be arranged in the hotel itself and the lunch will be en-route.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Another day in the lush green forests of Uganda. Begin the day with the refreshing sip of hot cappuccino served in your room. Get ready for another game drive and this time it would be in the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. The main idea behind visiting this park is to get face to face with the immense wildlife that resides in this part of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a large number of mammals that include buffalo, hippos, leopards, tree climbing lions, and more than 600 species of birds. A full-day guided tour in the park would give an opportunity to witness some, if not all, of the wildlife from a close distance. You will return to your hotel before the dark. This would be your last night in Uganda as tomorrow you will be saying goodbye to this beautiful country and its incredible landscape and wildlife.

Day 8: Departure

Your 8-day Uganda Safari Adventure is finally completing and today you will be saying Cheerios to the scenic beauty of this place. With lots of special memories in your heart, you will transfer to the airport for a happy return. Do not miss to enjoy your farewell breakfast in the hotel before the exit formalities. You will love the sweet gesture shown by the hotel staff.
