Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Relax in the Moshi

Out of all the Tanzania towns, Moshi is the gentlest. After an hours-long flight, Moshi is the perfect place to relax and cure the jet lag problems. At the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your guide who will transfer you to Moshi and the pre-booked hotel. While traveling, do not miss to spot the glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro accompanied by snippets of Africa’s landscape. If you reach your hotel by noon or early morning, you will get some time to explore the nearby locations of which the road stalls and local markets would be the one.

Day 2: Get Ready for the Kilimanjaro Climb and Ascend Through Dense Rainforest

Wake up early in the morning, have a complete meal in the breakfast, and pull your socks up cause today, you are going to climb The Kilimanjaro. From the trailhead at 1650 meters, you set off on the fertile lower slopes of the mountain. On your way, you will encounter a couple of coffee plantations, rolling farmlands, and tiny African villages making the entire course actually engaging. The Umbwe Route is the least used of Kilimanjaro's trails. So, if you get a chance, do explore this region as well. Enjoy the only you, your guide, and the mountains while climbing. Day 3: A Beautiful and Steep Climb to Barranco Hut

After completing the Kilimanjaro climb, you will leave for the Barranco Hut climb. Rainfall is sparser here and the vivid vegetation gives way to the dramatic rocky terrain. A steep narrow trail takes you along the breathtaking Umbwe Ridge. Enjoy the dramatic drops leading off from the trail, and sometimes making it feel like the whole of Africa is waiting beneath your feet. This is a one-of-a-kind experience that you will have only at the Barranco Hut. follow the instructions given by your guide and you are good to climb.

Day 4: Reach the Roof of Africa

A mountain climb is never easy and neither it can be done in one day. You need to give your all in order to climb a mountain like the Kilimanjaro's. From day 2 to Day 4, you had seen a lot of things that these mountains are hiding from the outsiders. You experienced them from the closest and hence, on the last day of your climb, you are actually going to conquer it all by reaching at the height of 5,8905 meters - the rooftop of Africa. This is the point where your journey ends and it is where you will feel like you have reached the top of Africa and entire Africa is lying beneath your feet. Day 5: Departure from the Mountains
