Detailed Itinerary

Day 1-2: Getting started with Cape Town

Cape Town is the place where your first-ever African safari will begin. Right from the airport to the resort, this place will act as a gateway to an incredible landscape and exhilarating wildlife. Being a stoppage does not mean it has nothing to offer. Cape Town is itself a prominent tourist spot that has vibrant colors and impressive history to offer. Get delights of the Waterfront and Cape Town Harbor, enjoy the delectable local cuisines and much more while staying in Cape Town.

Some places you must visit in Cape Town are down below:

  • Cape of Good Hope

  • Table Mountains

  • Boulders Beach

  • Robben Island

  • Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

You can spend 1-2 days here and then proceed for the ultimate South African Safari.

Day 3: Go safari in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve

If you really want to witness the wilderness in the wild, you need to visit Sabi Sands which is also home to Kruger National Park, the largest park in the world. Over half the world's remaining rhinos live here, alongside millions of antelope, and the full smorgasbord of predators. There are no fences or boundaries, the wildlife roaming freely and unobstructed. Waking up with a sound of birds, and rushing to the balcony to witness the live rhinos roaming in front of your lodge is a one-of-a-kind feeling which only Kruger National Park offers. A white rhino wanders past, glancing up briefly before plodding its way through the trees. Not only Rhinos, but this South African Safari Holiday Itinerary will also make you see a couple of Impalas and kudus skipping here and there in the park.

Day 4: Explore more in Sabi Sands

After spotting rhinos and impala, it’s time to delve deeper into the wild. Spot predators roaming in the park and gathering at the waterholes. Witness a dramatic trail of elephants,  enigmatic sights emerging from trees, massive troops of zebras reaching out to the trees, and much more. Day 4 of your journey is going to give you goosebumps like never before. Do not miss to spot big cats looking for their prey. You may even get to see them enjoying their dinner.

Day 5: Taking a turn to Johannesburg

Fly from Mpumalanga for Johannesburg International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. Though, being the largest city of South Africa, it doesn't really get the credit it deserves. Maybe because it does not have the mountain backdrop of Cape Town, but for the sprawling suburbs and neighborhoods, it surely deserves a visit. Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu both lived on the same street here and excellent museums recount their fight against apartheid. Having said that, a trip to Soweto is worth it just for the wonderfully colorful and welcoming locals. Do explore this place to the fullest before leaving.

Day 6: Majestic Victoria Falls

No introduction can beat the majestic entry to the great Africa safari by a Helicopter Ride above Victoria Falls. On the last day your trip, you will get to fly above one of the most wonderful natural legends of the world - the Victoria Falls. Seeing and feeling it closely is a dream of many travelers, and you are going to fulfill this dream on the very first day of your trip. A short flight above the Victoria falls is sure to give you moments of your life.
