Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: EL CHALTÉN, ARGENTINA - CONDOR LOOKOUT POINT

Begin the travel to Patagonia with El Chaltén in Argentina. Since it’s the first day and the travel in Patagonia has a lot of hiking trails involved, begin your journey with a small hike to the beautiful Condor Lookout Point to watch the sunset in the glaciers.

DAY 2: EL CHALTÉN, ARGENTINA- TREK TO FITZROY MOUNTAIN

This city in Argentina is famous for its trek to Fitzroy Mountain. What makes this trip special is the two routes which you can take and both the routes have very different views and breathtaking sights. The best route is through Laguna de Los Tres trail, which offers the most spectacular views. One can reach the lagoon after a 4-hour trek that is located at the base of Fitzroy Mountain.

DAY 3: EL CALAFATE, ARGENTINA- LOS GLACIARES NATIONAL PARK

The next city in our journey is El Calafate in Argentina. It is famous for its Los Glaciares National Park, where you can enjoy the sight of gigantic glaciers.

DAY 4: EL CALAFATE, ARGENTINA- PERITO MORENO

One of the most famous glaciers of the Patagonia region is Perito Moreno. The journey is incomplete without a view of this glacier, so you can spend the next day taking the breathtaking view of Perito Moreno.

DAY 5: PUERTO NATALES, CHILE- W TREK - TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK- TRES TORRES

This beautiful small city in Chile is the hub of adventure activities because you can enthrall into the most beautiful trek considered in the Patagonia region, the W trek. It is a 3-day long trek in Torres del Paine National Park. Although most people select the option of just covering the first day of the trek and visiting the Tres Torres, there is a better option to trek for 3 days into nature and help you reconnect with your roots. The first embarkment of the trek will be the Tres Torres.

DAY 6: PUERTO NATALES, CHILE- W TREK - TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK - THE FRENCH VALLEY

In continuation with the W trek, the second landmark would be The French Valley, also known as the Mirador Frances.

DAY 7: PUERTO NATALES, CHILE- W TREK – TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK- GREY GLACIER

The last day of the trek, embark your journey towards the Grey Glacier and then return back to Puerto Natales. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to come back.

DAY 8: USHUAIA, ARGENTINA

This is the last spot to visit in the Patagonia region, and also one of the last points on the earth as it is the southern tip of South America because, after Ushuaia, you will be able to see the ocean and Antarctica. What could be better than visiting the last point as our last spot of the journey! Walk on the promenade to watch Beagle Channel and enjoy the sunset. Don’t forget to visit Saint Christopher Shipwreck and hike in the famous Tierra del Fuego National Park, one of the most famous national parks in the region.

DAY 9: DAY TRIP TO YÉCAPASELA PENGUIN COLONY

Take a day trip to Yécapasela Penguin Colony, also known as the Penguin Island on the last day. It is a reserve to watch the colonies of Magellanic Penguins. Feel the actual vibe of glaciers there as you end your travel to Patagonia.
