DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Haugesund

Haugesund has a long-standing history of being a fishing port! But, today, it is the oil industry that keeps the wheels of the city moving. With assortments of flamboyant restaurants & bars, there’s definitely that strength within the city to keep travelers glued to it. The waterfront area in the vicinity of the port is particularly beautiful! In addition to that, there are a plethora of interesting historical attractions in the city including the Viking farms & the ancient churches. One of the best things to do in Haugesund is going on a boat trip to the neighboring Karmoy island. Today’s exploration will also include discovering this beautiful neighboring island of Karmoy.

Day 2: Drammen

Drammen is a popular industrial center in Norway. With a scampering port, it’s all bright, beautiful, and plenty of tourist-friendly locations to visit. It’s very close to Oslo, the capital city of Norway and that makes it one of the most loved attractions for travelers who come to the country. And, there are wonderful trails on both sides on the river that splits the city. Most travelers use this part of the country as their stopping point from where they can traverse the entire country. Most Norway vacation packages will have this destination into its itinerary and so will this.

Day 3: Lillehammer

On the third day of your Norway vacation, you will be walking across the streets of Lillehammer. This was the place that hosted the 1994 Olympics and there are undoubtedly plenty of winter sports to enjoy over here. Around the city, you would see a number of wonderful galleries & museums, and its location on the edge of Lake is an added advantage when on a trip to Norway. This is one of the most popular ski resorts in the country with the most perfect landscape around. Winter is the best time to visit Lillehammer, however, there are amazing things to see and do all through the year.

Day 4: Kristiansand

On the fourth day of this Norway vacation, you will visit Kristiansand, the fifth-largest city in the country. With wonderful and energetic surroundings, you enjoy a perfect vacation when around here. There are a number of sandy beaches with lovely shopping options, bars restaurants and more to get around some really amazing moments of your life. It’s an amazing tourist spot for a large number of locals as well as travelers! And, for some of it’s a great stopover on the way to most popular destinations in southern Norway.

Day 5: Bodo

Heading towards the largest city across the Nordic region, you have reached the fifth-day of this Norway vacation. Today, you will be exploring Bodo, which is an important transport city & commercial center of the country. It is the snow-capped mountains here that make for the washed-out & colorless buildings that were destroyed during WWII. Bodo is located at the end of the coastal route of Kystriksveien and most travelers end up at this place on the way to visiting the neighboring Lofoten Islands. Also, from Bodo, it’s easy to discover beautiful northern Norway.

Day 6: Stavanger

On the sixth day of the Norway vacation, you will explore Stavanger. This dynamic city is all a growing part of the country because of the neighboring oil fields. But, before you visit this part of the country, it’s important to know that it’s one of the most expensive parts of all Norway vacation packages. The most amazing thing about Stavanger is the old wooden buildings that are great walking around. It hasn’t been too much influenced by the modern-day developments & it maintains its old-day charm. And, the waterfront in the vicinity is vibrant & busy all through with amazing restaurants & energetic nightlife. So, today, you are going to enjoy that all!

Day 7: Trondheim

The next part of this Norway vacation is Trondheim! This part of the city has the most beautiful landscape in the entire country. With the forest-clad hills and beautiful waterways surrounding the vibrant buildings & the perfectly amazing old harbor, you feel as wonderful as ever before. Trondheim is also called the historic capital of Norway with the most beautiful cathedral of the country. You will enjoy walking leisurely along the laid-back streets. And, there are perfect museums, great restaurants, and amazing cafes that will add to your glee. Today, after visiting Trondheim, in the other half of the day, you will visit the wild landscapes of the northern part of the country.
