Ever since my grandfather visited India (that time I was 5), I had a dream to visit India once in my lifetime. A cacophony of honks, a storm of dust, a splash of vivid colors, and an aroma of species are best to describe until I had a beautiful visit to India. And this is what my grandfather passed on to me about the country, but when I reached there, I found that the country has a lot more than what has been described.
It was all started when my cousin's friend recommended Leisure.com that connected him with a travel specialist to plan a trip to Australia. Through him, I got to know about this amazing travel company that plans a trip at an astonishing price. My travel agent was so helpful and full of knowledge about the place I wish to visit. He asked me about my travel preferences and after knowing my preferences, he came up with an itinerary covering all the top attractions of India. Just not the places, he made sure to add some thrill and adventure to my tour.
I started my India tour with the capital city, Delhi where I visited the historic fort, Red Fort. It is called as “Dilli ka Lal Qila” in India by the locals where I heard about Chandni Chowk that is famous for its spicy food and cheap textiles. I had a wonderful time at Chandni Chowk where I tasted spicy Paani Puri, Chole Bhature, and famous parathas from Paratha Gali.
After exploring a few places in Delhi, I went straight to Agra to see one of the seven wonders of the world. It is none other than the Taj Mahal. It is so beautiful that I was awe-struck for a while to see its beauty. My overall experience was really good and all thanks to my travel agent who made my trip awesome.
